First Congregational Church Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m. and worship is at 10:30 a.m. every Sunday. Other events and worship services are held regularly. Visit the church website.

There are some new and exciting things happening at church.

First is not so new but still exciting, we are having in-person service every Sunday at 10:30 am. If you have not met our new Pastor, Ashton would love to meet you!

Second we have a new meditation class Wednesdays at 6:00pm, and we will be having a Youth Group Wednesdays at 6:00pm with a dinner preceding it at 5:30pm.

Third: Pastor Ashton is very passionate about Pastoral care. If you have anything you need to talk about you are more than welcome to schedule time with him during his office hours. Tues 10am-5pm, Wed 12pm-4pm, and Thurs 10am-5pm.

WE HAVE A NEW PASTOR! Ashton McDonald was voted unanimously to become our next pastor. He and his wife Rikka will be moving to Emporia asap and Ashton will be installed on June 18. Join us for 10:30 am morning worship as we say farewell to our Interim Rev Dr. Cheryl Henson and officially welcome Ashton and Rikka. It is an exciting moment in our history. ON May 27-28 Our search Committee will be presenting our pastoral candidate, Ashton McDonald. The committee voted unanimously to present Ashton to the congregation as our new pastor. If you are a member please join us May 28 to hear Ashton's sermon and all church members are asked to remain following the service for a special business meeting.
