Friends, we have just discovered that the Spanish Language Flyer for our spring rummage sale is incorrect. Our sale is Friday May 1, 7AM-6PM and Saturday May 2, 8AM-Noon. Please help spread the word so no-one misses out.

Barb and Christine both served at Emporia FUMC. We celebrate the relationship they built, the ministry they do at Cafe Quetzál and the gift of organ donation!

When Rev. Christine Potter was opening the coffeeshop ministry Cafe Quetzal in Topeka in 2021, she asked her longtime friend, Barb Muench, to be the manager. That friendship went to a new level one month ago today, when Potter donated a kidney to Muench, who was diagnosed with lupus 40 years ago.
