There are some nights that stay with you long after they’re over—this is going to be one of them.

On May 12th at 6:30 pm, we’re gathering at Family Christian Center for our next Harvest Place evening, and this time, we have a speaker whose story will stop you in your tracks.

Carlos Zizo isn’t coming with polished words or a picture-perfect past. He’s coming with truth. The kind that’s been lived through the darkest places—and transformed by something greater.

His journey began in the chaos of East LA, marked by choices, consequences, and struggles that many wouldn’t come back from. But his story didn’t end there. What happened next is something you need to hear for yourself.

This is more than a testimony.
It’s a reminder that no life is too far gone.
No past is too broken.
No heart is beyond restoration.

Bring a friend. Come expectant. Leave encouraged.

We can’t wait to see you there.

With His amazing love,
The Harvest Place team

**Easter Sunday**

He is risen!

What began in quiet stillness now bursts into life and victory.

Early that morning, a few faithful women came to the tomb—expecting to mourn, not to witness a miracle. But the ground shook, the stone was rolled away, and an angel declared the words that would change everything:

“He is not here… He has risen.”

Soon, Jesus appears to His disciples—alive. The scars remain, but death is defeated. The cross was not the end. The tomb could not hold Him.

Every promise fulfilled.
Every hope restored.
Every chain broken.

Easter Sunday reminds us:
Because He lives… we have life.

**Holy Saturday**

Silence.

After the anguish of Good Friday, the world grows quiet.

Jesus’ body lies in the tomb—sealed, guarded, and seemingly final. The disciples hide in fear and grief, overwhelmed and unsure of what comes next. Hope feels distant… like everything they believed in has been buried.

And yet, even in the silence, God is still at work.

What appears to be the end is not the end at all.

Holy Saturday reminds us that there are moments when heaven seems quiet, when prayers feel unanswered, and when hope feels lost. But even then, God is moving—preparing what we cannot yet see.

Hold on.

Sunday is coming.
