6/2/26 Tuesday Bible Study 1 Samuel Week 21

06/02/2026

From the Desk of Pastor Frank Long:

"so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him."

Hebrews 9:28 NIV

It is amazing to think that Jesus left heaven, came to earth, lived a sinless life and then died and rose again to pay the price for all of our sins. Yes, He appeared to take away the sins of the world.

The good news for the believer is Jesus will be coming back a second time, and when He does, for the rapture, He will take us all home to be with Him forever, AMEN!!

The question is this, are you ready? Have you truly surrendered your life to Christ, and do you truly know Jesus, or do you just know about Jesus on a very superficial level?

Jesus is coming back for the surrendered church, people of God, are you truly ready.

Maranatha, Come Lord Jesus!!!

From the Desk of Pastor Frank Long:

"I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

Revelation 21:2-4 NIV

Stay the course! As we stay the course, we are given the hope of one day seeing our Lord face to face, and just as important, we will live with Him forevermore in glory, hallelujah!!!

In this place of glory, which is more than we could ever imagine, there will be no more tears, no more sorrow, no more struggles and no more difficulty, just love, joy and peace!

Hold onto that hope fellow soldiers, God said it will happen so it will, it will happen to all of those who are faithful and steadfast with the Lord, AMEN!!!! HALLELUJAH!!!!!!

From the Desk of Pastor Frank Long:

"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the arcangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever."

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 NIV

A mighty and powerful passage about the soon and coming rapture where Jesus Christ comes back to take his church home to be with Him.

The question to be asked at this point is, are you ready?

If Jesus was to come back right now for his church, would you go?

And if you think that, ask yourself why. Jesus is coming back for a church that is surrendered to His lordship. Is Jesus Christ truly the Lord of your life?

All I can say is maranatha, come Lord Jesus come!!

From the Desk of Pastor Frank Long:

"But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children— with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts."

Psalm 103:17-18 NIV

When we truly love and have a reverential fear for the Lord, there is a blessing for it, and not just for us, but for generations to come.

When we fear the Lord, we will obey His Word, but not just that, we will teach our kids and our grandkids and great grandkids to do the same, that is what the Lord instructs us to do in this life as part of our ministry.

I don't know about you, but I want generations of my family to walk in the blessings of God, so let's be obedient to God and pass that down, AMEN!!!!

From the Desk of Pastor Frank Long:

"Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn."

Romans 12:15 NIV

This is a powerful verse, rejoice with those who rejoice, that means in every area. One KEY to this is that there is no room for jealousy with this, we cannot look at others, and their successes, with envy and jealousy, if you do, you will never truly rejoice with them.

We should also mourn with those who mourn. That means we do not look at them and say or think things like, "they deserve what they got." We must have a heart of compassion and mercy and truly mourn with them, no matter what they are mourning.

Today, let us all have the heart of Jesus Christ and truly love and esteem others above ourselves. AMEN!!!

From the Desk of Pastor Frank Long:

"For three days he was blind, and did not eat or drink anything."

Acts 9:9 NIV

As I read this verse today, and I think about it, why was Saul blind for three days? Why no food or drink for three days?

This is when Saul had an encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus and Jesus blinded him for three days

When Jesus died on the cross, He was in the grave for three days, with no food or water.

You see, Saul, who became Paul, the old man had to die, even pushing the physical body to its limits because it is known that not having anything to drink for three days can kill a person.

The point i'm making is, when you meet Jesus, and you have a true conversion, there's a dying to oneself. If we don't die, we can't be born again.....

Have you truly died? And are you born again?

From the Desk of Pastor Frank Long:

"However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace."

Acts 20:24 NIV

The one thing we should be focused on the most is walking out the plans God has for our life, and part of that is sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.

When we wake up every morning, we should ask the Lord, what is Your plan for my life today and how can I integrate sharing the good News of Jesus Christ in that plan?

When we ask God those questions, without a doubt, the Lord will answer, AMEN!!
