One year ago today, a Catholic school boy from the USA became the Holy Father Pope Leo XIV.

As we did as a diocese that day honor of our successor of St. Peter and the whole Church by saying a reverent and bold St. Michael Prayer for him, the Church, and the world!
Interesting to note:
It was Pope Leo XIII that wrote the Saint Michael prayer in 1884. He composed it after having a vision of the archangel while celebrating Mass in his private chapel.

St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Amen! Amen!! AMEN!
