Elkin First United Methodist Church Preschool is dedicated to fostering the growth and development of the whole child—physically, emotionally, socially, cognitively, and spiritually. Guided by our Christian mission, we provide a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow at their own pace while being supported by highly trained, compassionate educators. Our developmental goals include:

Our daily activities reflect this belief through Bible stories, scripture memorization, songs of praise, prayers, and blessings. The loving example of Christian living—demonstrated by our staff—is an integral part of the curriculum. All teachers at EFUMC Preschool are trained in Early Childhood Education, CPR, and First Aid, ensuring both a high standard of care and quality instruction. Program Options
Three-Day Program (Tues.–Thurs., 9:00 am–1:00 pm)
• Infants – Threes: $205/month
• Kindergarten Readiness: $225/month

Four-Day Program (Mon.–Thurs., 9:00 am–1:00 pm)
• Toddlers – Threes: $225/month
• Kindergarten Readiness: $240/month

We had such a wonderful visit today from the Elkin Fire Department!
A special thank you to Firefighter William and Firefighter Joe for taking time out of their busy day to visit our preschool, teach our little learners about fire safety, and let them explore the fire truck! 🚒

Our firefighters play such an important role in our community, and we are incredibly grateful for their dedication, bravery, and selfless service in keeping our families and community safe.

Thank you for all you do, not just for our preschool, but for our entire community! We appreciate you more than you know! 👨‍🚒

Dear Preschool Families,
With Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (HFMD) currently making its way through our community, we wanted to share a reminder of our preschool's health and illness policy.

We kindly ask that you be especially mindful of others when sending your little ones to school. If your child is showing even the slightest signs of illness or symptoms of HFMD, please use extra caution and keep them home until you are confident they are well enough to return.

We understand that keeping little ones home isn't always easy, but a little extra care and caution goes a long way in protecting your child; as well as our students, teachers, and families. ❤️

🎃 EFUMC’s Annual Contest is back! 🎃

This year, we’re challenging everyone to get creative and make your very own “pumpkin”… without using a real pumpkin!

♻️ Repurpose, reuse, and transform something you already have into a one-of-a-kind pumpkin creation! Boxes, bottles, jugs, cans, containers, recycled materials, old household items-if you can turn it into a pumpkin, it counts!

🍂 Bring your finished creation to our Trunk or Treat:

⏰ 4:30–6:30 PM

🏆 Winners will be announced Sunday, November 1 during our 10:55 AM worship service and on Facebook.
