Recently, there has been damage caused by someone on an ATV spinning cookies in the gravel & on the new asphalt pad at Three Pines Cemetery. This area is meant to be a peaceful place for remembrance, reflection, and honoring loved ones. We understand people enjoy outdoor recreation, but the damage left behind not only impacts the appearance of the grounds but can be upsetting to families visiting those laid to rest there.
Please help us keep this a place of respect, and we thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

The Elk River Cemetery District asks families to please remove flowers & decorations from gravesites by October 31, 2025 in preparation for winter maintenance. Items left after that date will be removed by staff. If you are unable to make it, please message us and we will be happy to set items aside for you to pick up. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a well-kept resting place for your loved ones.

The Elk River Cemetery District has completed a Veterans Memorial at the Three Pines Cemetery honoring the veterans that are buried there. The improvements included excavation and widening of the road and parking area, paving the pad for two handicap parking sites and installing the new memorial. The project was completed with funding from the Elk River Cemetery District, the Waldrop Foundation, Motley-Motley, Steve's Excavation, Potlatch-Deltic, Tom’s Tavern Community Fund, Whitcomb Rock, Clearwater Highway District, along with local donations.
