Day 2: Love Wears Work Clothes
πŸ“–: Romans 13:8
πŸ’: Love is more than a feeling; it is a way of showing up. It shapes how we speak, how we listen, how we disagree, an how we treat the people who are difficult to love. Paul teaches that love fulfills the law because love takes god's will and puts it into action. In that sense, love wears work clothes. It gets involved. It repairs what is broken. It chooses mercy when resentment would be easier.
πŸ™: God of love, teach me to love not only in words but in action. Give me eyes to see my neighbor with compassion and a heart willing to serve, forgive, and seek peace. Amen.
❓: Who is one neighbor, friend, family member, or church member I can love more intentionally this week?

Day 1: put on the Armor of Light
πŸ“–: Romans 13:12
πŸ’: Faith is not something we put on for an hour and the hang back in the closet. Paul reminds us that we are called to wear the light of Christ into ordinary places: our homes, our conversations, our errands, our work, and our conflicts. The question is not only whether we attend church, but whether we carry the spirit of Christ with us when we leave.
πŸ™: Lord Jesus, help me lay aside anything that keeps me from reflecting your light. Clothe me in patience, kindness, courage, and love se that others may see your presence through me. Amen.
❓: What is one place in my life where I need to "put on the armor of light" more intentionally today?

Sermon Daily Devotional
Day 5: Launching into Generous Grace
πŸ“–: What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?...For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done. Matthew 16:26-27
πŸ’: Today marks Day28 - the grand finale of our prayer initiative! But this isn't the finish line it's the launching pad. The world tells us to collect as much stuff, popularity, and success for ourselves as possible. But Jesus warns us that you can win the whole world and still lose the things that matter most. Instead of hoarding our lives, we are called to steward god's grace generously and serve joyously. when you realize that God's grace is an endless, rechargeable battery, you don't have to hold ack. You can give your time, your kind words, and your energy away completely. We serve joyously because we aren't working to earn a victory; we are serving out of the overflow of a victory Jesus already won for us! Shouting the final amen of the Lord's prayer is our commitment to go out and change the world.
❓: As our 28-day prayer journey wraps up, how will you continue to steward god's grace generously in your daily life?
πŸ™: Father, Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever! Thank You for the last 28 days of prayer. as I step our today, help me to serve joyously and give away the grace You have so generously poured into my life. Amen.

Day 4: The Cost of Playing on the Winning Team
πŸ“–: Then Jesus said to his disciples, "whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. Matthew 16:24-25
πŸ’: In sports, you don't win a championship by sitting comfortably on the bench. It takes sweat, discipline, and sacrifice. Jesus tells His disciples straight up that following Him on the right path comes with a cost. It requires us to drop our selfish desires, take yo our cross, and love boldly - even when it's incredibly unpopular. Loving boldly means choosing forgiveness when you want to hold a grudge. It means standing up for the kid who is being bullied, even if it risks your own social status. it feels like losing your life, but Jesus promises that this is exactly how you find real, authentic life. we can make these bold moves because we know how the story ends: His is the victory forever!
❓: What is one selfish attitude or comfort you need to deny today so that you can love someone else boldly?
πŸ™: Jesus, following You isn't always easy, but I know it's the only path to true life. Give me the courage to love boldly today, even if it costs me something. Amen.

Sermon Daily Devotional
Day 3: The rallying cry of the Unlikely Leader
πŸ“–: Moses said to God, "Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?"
πŸ’: Moses was hiding in the desert, minding his own business, when God called him from a burning bush to change the world. Moses immediately panicked. he asked, "Who am I?" he felt weak, unqualified, and terrified. But notice god's answer, god didn't say, "You are super strong, Moses!" God said, "I will be with you." As we near the end of our 28-day prayer initiative, God is calling you to lead courageously. Leading courageously doesn't mean you have all the answers or never feel scared. It means you stop focusing on your limitations and start focusing on God's unlimited power. The ultimate rallying cry reminds us that the power belongs to Him, not us!
❓: What is one area in your life (at school, at home, or in your friendships) where you need to stop saying "Who am I?" and start trusting that God is with you?
πŸ™: God when I feel small or weak, remind me that You are with me. Give me the strength to lead courageously this weekend, knowing that Your power is my shield. Amen.

Sermon Daily Devotional
πŸ“–: Jesus turned and said to Peter, Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns. Matthew 16:23
πŸ’: Peter loved Jesus, but he made a massive mistake. When Jesus explained that He had to suffer and die, Peter tried to stop Him. Peter thought he was being helpful, but Jesus corrected him quickly because Peter was thinking like the world, not like God. Peter was looking for an easy, comfortable path, not God's right path. If we want to love boldly and lead courageously, we have to make sue our minds are tuned to God's playbook, not the world's playbook. The world tells us to look our for number one, avoid discomfort, and blend in. God's playbook tells us to sacrifice, stand our , and trust his victory. Prayer shifts our mindset from human concerns to God's big kingdom plans.
❓: In what area of your life are you tempted to follow human concerns (like fitting in or taking the easy way out) instead of God's playbook?
