Congratulations to Our Graduating Seniors!

This week, we celebrate an incredible milestone for our seniors at Family Worship Center and FWC Rock Solid Student Ministries. We are so proud of each one of you and all that God has done in your lives. Watching you grow in faith, leadership, and character has been such a blessing.

As you step into this next season of life, remember this: God has a plan and purpose for your future. No matter where life takes you, college, work, ministry, or new adventures, stay close to Him and trust His direction.

Today we celebrate an awesome young man! Timmy, we want you to know how much we love you and how proud we are of you. We are thankful to watch you grow, serve, and continue becoming the person God has called you to be. Keep chasing God, staying strong in your faith, and being the amazing person you are!

Putting God first isn’t about being perfect; it’s about choosing Him daily, even in the middle of real life. Trusting God means believing that His plan is better than ours, even when we don’t understand what He’s doing. It’s waking up and deciding to seek Him before anything else, to listen for His direction, and to follow where He leads. When we put God first, everything else begins to fall into place, not always how we expect, but always how we need.

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33 (ESV)

God isn’t distant, angry, or someone we have to impress, He is Father, Friend, and King, powerful and personal at the same time. He doesn’t want rule following without relationship; He wants closeness. Scripture reminds us that we are no longer slaves living in fear, but sons and daughters who belong, and that Jesus calls us friends, inviting us into trust and honesty with Him. There’s a difference between knowing about God and truly knowing Him, information doesn’t equal intimacy. God adopts us before we ever get it right, and from that identity, growth follows. Obedience flows from love, not fear. God doesn’t want compliance; He wants closeness, and when we understand who He really is, we stop trying to earn His approval and start living from the security of being fully loved.
