You are invited to celebrate Pastor Karen's retirement and give thanks for her faithful ministry at Eleva Lutheran Church this Sunday, June 7th.

Worship begins at 9:00 a.m., and during the service we will recognize and honor Pastor Karen for her years of dedicated service, leadership, and care for our congregation.

Following worship, everyone is invited to stay for a retirement celebration. This will be a special time to share memories, express appreciation, and celebrate the impact she has had on our church family and community.

A free-will offering will also be received for Pastor Karen as a gift of our gratitude and thanks for her service to Eleva Lutheran.

Whether you are a current member, former member, friend, or neighbor, we welcome you to join us for this special day of celebration!

Yesterday’s pie baking was filled with laughter, flour, and the sweet smell of homemade goodness! 🄧 A huge thank you to everyone who helped roll, fill, and bake.

Now it’s time to enjoy the results! Stop by the Eleva Lutheran Pie Stand all weekend long—located right next to the Hilltop Chicken Stand. Grab a delicious slice and some ice cream to stay cool this weekend. We can’t wait to see you at Broiler Fest!

P.S. Come enjoy some great music by the Lorn and Royce Band on Sunday morning at 10:00am at the Main Stage...and yes, pie and ice cream is an acceptable breakfast during Broiler Fest.

Today, as a church family, we pause to honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is a solemn reminder that freedom is never free, and their courage continues to shape the blessings we enjoy today.

We also hold close the families who carry the weight of loss — parents, spouses, children, and friends whose love and grief endure long after the ceremonies end. May they feel the comfort of God’s presence and the support of a grateful nation.

Today's verse gives us a glimpse into the heart of Jesus as He prays for His disciples before facing the cross. Rather than focusing on Himself, He prays for those He loves—asking that they be protected, united, and grounded in God’s presence. It is a powerful reminder that faith is not meant to be lived alone. In a world that often feels divided and isolating, Jesus’ prayer calls us toward unity, compassion, and care for one another. Knowing that Jesus prayed for His followers can also bring comfort, reminding us that we are seen and held by God even in difficult seasons. This passage invites us to consider how we can strengthen community, encourage one another, and reflect God’s love through the way we live together. šŸ“–āœļø
