Happy Pastor Appreciation Day!
Today, we celebrate and thank God for the incredible blessing Pastor Derrick is to our lives and our church family. His faithfulness to God, his love for His people, and his dedication to the calling on his life are truly a blessing to us all. Being a pastor is so much more than standing behind a pulpit. It’s praying for others when no one sees, offering encouragement when hearts are heavy, sharing God’s Word with love, and continuing to serve even when the journey isn’t easy.
Pastor Derrick, thank you for your faithfulness, your sacrifices, your prayers, your leadership, and the love you pour into the lives of so many. Thank you for answering God’s call and allowing Him to use you as a vessel to touch hearts, strengthen faith, and lead souls closer to Him.
And Marian, we want you to know that you are appreciated, too! We recognize that behind the calling is a wife who also makes sacrifices, offers support, gives of her time, and shares her husband with the many people God has called him to serve. We know that the journey of ministry affects the entire family, and we are grateful for the love, strength, patience, and support you give along the way. Your sacrifices may not always be seen or spoken of, but they matter, and they do not go unnoticed. Thank you for standing beside Pastor Derrick and being part of the work God is doing through him. You are a blessing and today we honor you, too!
May He continue to renew your strength, protect your family, and pour back into you the same love and encouragement you so freely give to others. Pastor Derrick and Marian, you are loved, appreciated, and a blessing to the Kingdom of God! May God pour out His abundant blessings upon you today and always.
