The Executive Leadership Team of LBA is pleased to announce that Doug Wills has accepted the role of Interim Associational Missions Strategist, in addition to his duties as communication director. Doug is familiar with our churches and our association & mission. We believe that he offers stability and vision as we look
to the future of the LBA.
Doug will begin duties as the interim AMS on June 16th .
Doug will be available to assist with pulpit supply, help our churches walk through pastoral transitions, offer
counsel as they formulate their evangelism and discipleship strategies, and oversee the work of our ministry centers and camp. You can contact Doug through the associational office.
As Doug begins this new role, the Nominating Team will get to work forming a search team for our next AMS.
Once a team has agreed to serve, we will have a special-called meeting of the Executive Board to approve that search committee, pray over them, and set them about their work.
The work of the Association will carry on.
Our ministry centers are stronger than ever and are meeting
needs in our communities. Please continue to support the great work of the Liberty Ministry Center and the Ruby Snider Ministry Center.
Beech Springs will move forward with hosting kids and youth camps. Please pray for the life change that will happen there this summer.
The Executive Leadership Team is excited about this new season of ministry at the LBA.
The future is bright as God continues to move in South Arkansas. Let’s keep pushing forward together to see our neighbors near and far won for the Kingdom of God.
