Pastor E. Keith Richardson Sr. the newly appointed pastor of St Vestal CME Church comes out of pastoral retirement to us with 43 years of ministry and pastoral experience.

Pastor Richardson entered the ministry at the age of seventeen while under the leadership of his father, Rev. W. L. Scott who served God’s people in the pastoral ministry for 65 years.

He graduated from Batesville High School in Batesville, AR. He received his AA degree from Shorter College in North Little Rock and his Bachelor of Theology from Andersonville Seminary in Camilla GA. He received an Honory Doctorate degree from Kingdom Bible College and Theological Seminary in Carthage Ar. He is currently attending Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, working on a counseling degree with emphasis on drug addiction and substance abuse. He will complete that degree in January and graduate in May 2024.

Pastor Richardson started pastoring while still in high school and has pastored in Arkansas, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Iowa, and California.

Pastor Richardson is involved in various religious, social, and civic groups. He comes to us out of pastoral retirement, but he never retired from ministry. He has traveled to Hawaii, South Africa, the Bahamas, and Soul Korea, preaching God’s word and building the kingdom of God.

Help us welcome our pastor and his wife Eurydice (Reecie) and their son Elton Jr. to the city of El Dorado and Union County.
