Faithful fathers reflect something true about the character of God...

Fatherhood is often expressed through ordinary moments: providing for a family, offering wisdom when it is needed, remaining present through difficult seasons, and carrying responsibilities that may go unnoticed. Over time, those acts of faithfulness leave a lasting impact on the people entrusted to their care.

Scripture reveals a Father who is steadfast, patient, and faithful to His children. Every father who leads, serves, and perseveres has an opportunity to reflect that reality in his home.🙏🏼

This Father's Day week, take time to thank God for the men in your lives whose faithfulness has pointed you and others toward Him.💙

Some of the most important moments in Scripture happened when God interrupted someone's plans...

Moses was tending sheep, Jonah was running away, and Saul was persecuting Christians. In every case, God stepped in and accomplished exactly what He intended to accomplish.

That same truth should encourage every believer today. What feels uncertain to you is not uncertain to God; the Lord is not trying to figure out your next step. He is already there.🙌🏼

"About a year ago, my journey with God began. At first, it was slow, and I resisted parts of His Word. But through the influence of others, God led me to Breakthrough Church, and that's where my personal breakthrough began.

Through this church family, God has shown me that even I can be forgiven. He has used this congregation to teach me what it means to follow Christ and grow into the person He created me to be.

One of the most dangerous things a person can do is confuse religious activity with genuine faith. Jesus never called us to look religious. He calls us to repent, believe, and follow Him. A changed heart produces a changed life.🙌🏼

Here are a few signs you may be practicing religion rather than pursuing Christ:
📖 You attend church on Sunday, but rarely open God's Word throughout the week.
🙏🏼 You want God's blessings, but have little interest in submitting to His authority.
🤝 You enjoy being around Christians, but avoid serving, discipling, or investing in others.
⚖️ You know biblical truth, but there is little evidence of ongoing repentance and obedience.

The question is not whether you identify as a Christian; the question is whether the Gospel is actively transforming your life.

"Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it, not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it, they will be blessed in what they do." - James 1:22-25

Many people come to Jesus because they want Him to fix something. A broken relationship, an addiction, fear, financial pressure, a crisis they cannot control.

But throughout Scripture, Jesus never calls people to simply receive His help... He calls them to follow Him.

The official in John 4 came to Jesus because his son was dying. He wanted a miracle, but what he received was far greater. Christ not only healed his son, but brought salvation to his entire household. God was addressing a deeper need than the one that first brought him there.😌

That is often how God works. He uses difficult circumstances to draw us to Himself, not merely so our situation changes, but so our hearts change. The greatest breakthrough is not found in getting everything around you fixed; it is found in being reconciled to God through Jesus Christ.

The question becomes not whether Jesus can help you through what you are facing, but whether you are willing to trust Him as Lord when He calls you to repent, believe, and follow Him.🙏🏼
