MONDAY MORNING MEETUP - September 7th, 2026 - "When Grief Binds Us"

It seems the whole world has felt the losses of the last few months. Many of us seek solitude when we are grieving, our emotions seem so strong that we are tempted to pull away from the world until we feel like we have those feelings ‘under control’ whatever we feel that looks like. What happens when we open up and share our grief? When we hold each other close and allow our grief, in all its sloppy, messy feelings come out, we tend to grow closer.

Join us for Fellowship, prayer and some new ideas at 10am (PDT) on Zoom with Rev. Linda. You do not need to register, all are welcome just use the link below! This is a great way to stay connected, explore the events that are on our hearts and in our minds and share in love light and support. We look forward to seeing you soon.

It's that time again! . . . Christmas Cards for Our Veterans - If you can donate Christmas cards, please drop them off at the church office or bring them on Sunday.

Below is our timeline for the cards:

· Aug 9-Sept 27: Collect cards, no envelopes needed, a basket is in the Narthex, our Goal is 300 cards!

· Aug 9-Oct 31: Signing cards: Sign a few after Sunday service, take some home and bring them back the following Sunday then take some more

· Nov 8, 2026: Distribute cards to USO for Troops stationed in San Diego through the Holidays and to our Troops spending Holidays in VA Hospital
