Scullville Bible Church originally founded in 1855, has new and exciting things happening here in 2026! The lead pastor, James McCartney has just added a Family and Student Ministry Director to the staff: Rob Andrassy. Rob and his wife, Briana, are excited to see how God continues to grow the church’s family and student ministry! Rob has worked with students in ministry and education as a Dean of Students, Head of School, Bible Teacher, and Youth Pastor over the past fifteen years, and is anticipating God’s continued grace in serving the families and students at Scullville Bible Church. Rob received training at Knox Theological Seminary, graduating with a M.Div and has continued in ministry ever since as he’s shared that he truly enjoys investing in the next generation, that they would know the depths of God’s grace and live to love and serve Jesus Christ.

Hey Scullville. As we clear out and prepare the parsonage and garage for our new Director of Student and Family Ministry, I’m looking for someone with a truck who can take some items to the dump. Or, if you want the white plastic shelving, a small desk, some lumber scraps, etc you are welcome to them! Everything is sitting out in front of the garage. The small desk is on the upper deck. I wanted to thank Don, Joan, Michelle, the Sioukiouroglous (and everyone else who played a part) for stepping up to help me and my family in this very crisis-filled weekend. In 30 years, I have only had to miss Church (unplanned) twice. Once due to a bad sickness for me. Once for my mom. I was so proud of & thankful for our church family! I'm sorry I missed the opportunity to share God's Word and to be in fellowship. But, grateful that your kindness allowed me to be with my mom and my family on a hard day. Praise God she had the surgery in time, I made it up there in time, and she is recovering. There is much healing still needed & much work to do. But, I am grateful that she is still with us. Hey Scullville! Make sure to be on time for church this Sunday as we will be having a more "self-guided" communion this Sunday right at the beginning of the service. Right after that we will be hearing from our Missionaries in Greece (Eirini & Efthemes Sioukiouroglou). And then, I'll be teaching the rest of Mark 7! To top it all off, we will be having a luncheon after church in the church hall! It should be a great morning!
