SATURDAY, JUNE 6 – Mass at St. Ann’s will be at 5:30 (that date only.) There will be NO MASS on Tuesday, June 2. Father will be on retreat.

BELOVEDNESS: OVERCOMING YOUR INNER CRITIC – Sunday, June 7, following mass. Open to all ladies of the church. We will discuss the Litany of Belovedness and a quick devotional on areas we struggle with as women. Come join us for fellowship, coffee, and prayer as we unite as the women of St. Ann’s parish to support each other through our daily struggles with our inner critic.

ALL ARE WELCOME to the Atchison Deanery Eucharistic Procession on the Solemnity of Corpus Christi on June 7, at 4 pm. We will begin the procession inside St. Benedict Church, and conclude back in the church with Solemn Benediction. First Holy Communicants are invited to wear their First Communion attire and lay flowers before the Blessed Sacrament. Following Benediction, we will gather at St. Benedict Catholic School for food and fellowship. Please bring a dish to share that serves approximately 20 people. Families with last names A–N are asked to bring a dessert, and families with last names O–Z are asked to bring a side dish.

ANNOUNCEMENTS - May 24, 2025

PLEASE SIGN UP FOR THE DIRECTORY! - there is a list on the table in the Narthex or go online to ucdir.com - Click on Photography Session Sign-Up and enter KS257 in the Church Code field and enter parish257 in the Church Password field. You may also submit a photo if you cannot get your pictures taken at the center. We will need 2 people to help at the center June 5 and 6. Terry will help on Friday, but isn’t available on Saturday. MEMORIAL DAY MASS AT ST ANN’S – The American Legion is scheduled to do their traditional services at St. Ann’s at 9:40 on Monday, May 25. Mass will be held in the St. Ann’s Cemetery at 8:30 (weather permitting.) Please bring your own lawn chair.

A PRAYER VIGIL FOR THE FEAST OF THE SACRED HEART will be celebrated on Thursday, June 11 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee KS at 7:00 p.m. The Prayer Vigil will include the Vespers, Act of Reparation, Litany of the Sacred Heart and Chaplet of the Sacred Heart.

POPE LEO XIV has announced the upcoming year will be dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Last week, at the meeting of priests and religious of the NE Kansas parishes it was decided to ask all parish families to display in their homes a Sacred Heart of Jesus picture. Many of you may already have a picture passed down through generations on display in your home. Sacred Heart of Jesus pictures are available in the Narthex if you need one. A more detailed explanation is included with the picture.

THE ATCHISON ROSARY WARRIORS will host the Holy Family School of Faith for the 6th annual Rosary Event. Join us on June 14, with grace said at 5:30, for an evening of food, fun and the rosary. More details coming in late May.

TOTUS TUUS - There are two opportunities for our youth to attend Totus Tuus this summer! June 28-July 3 at St. Leo's in Horton and July 19-24 at St. Joseph's in Nortonville. For more information contact Rachel Goodpasture or see the flyers on the bulletin board in the back of church.
