************************************
FOR ALL PARISHIONERS:

K of C #818 - ST. PATRICK’S TRAP SHOOT – Join us on Sunday, September 13, at 19384 234th Rd, Atchison, for our annual trap shoot. Shooting starts at noon and continues until dark. All skill levels are welcome! Great prizes! Food and drinks available. $5 a shoot. Call 914-963-1090 for more information.

THE LEAVEN WILL CONTINUE BIWEEKLY PRINTING - Beginning this fall, The Leaven will continue a biweekly print schedule rather than returning to a weekly publication. This decision reflects the rising costs of printing and mailing the newspaper, coupled with significant postal delays that often prevent our readers from receiving timely news. By remaining a biweekly publication, we will be able to utilize our resources more effectively while continuing to invest in The Leaven, strengthening its online presence, expanding local coverage, and improving the ways we communicate between print editions.

In addition, a new e-newsletter will be released in October. Beginning in October, we will launch a biweekly email newsletter featuring timely news and features from across the archdiocese. We will also strengthen The Leaven’s online presence so that stories can be shared more quickly as they happen. The e-newsletter will be available free of charge to anyone who wishes to receive it. To subscribe, please sign up at theleaven.org/email-sign-up/.

COUPLES WHO ARE STRUGGLING IN THEIR MARRIAGES often turn to their church for advice or resources. Retrouvaille can help! Retrouvaille is a Canonically Recognized apostolate of the Roman Catholic Church (2016) and is designed for married couples facing difficult challenges in their relationship. The next program will begin with a weekend on September 25-27. Registration ends September 23. Contact HelpOurMarriage.org or call 800-470-2230 to register. Cost is $450.00 per couple and includes lodging and meals. Retrouvaille is a self-supporting non-profit, and they invite couples to "pay it forward" to help others transform their marriages. This ministry relies on your generosity to continue. There are a few handouts available in the Narthex.
