Freedom is a precious gift. In fact, one of the great truths recognized by our nation’s founders is that liberty is not something to be taken lightly. It must be cherished, protected, and wisely stewarded.

Yet as followers of Jesus, we know there is an even greater freedom, a freedom that no government can grant and no earthly power can take away.

Galatians 5:1 reminds us,
“It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.”
