Outdoor church is almost here.

This Sunday, August 30 at 10:00 AM, we’re gathering outside for a special morning of worship, teaching, and community.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket, invite a friend, and come enjoy church under the open sky. And stick around afterward for a free all-church Soul Food cookout.

Not every voice deserves equal weight.

We live in a world where everyone has an opinion, but wisdom means learning to recognize the voices that have earned the right to speak into our lives—people who know us, love us, follow Jesus, and care more about our growth than our approval.

Who are the faithful voices in your life?

We spend so much of our lives chasing the next achievement, promotion, or milestone, hoping it'll finally make us feel secure or enough.

But success has a funny way of moving the finish line.

There's nothing wrong with ambition or hard work. The question is whether we've started asking success to do something it was never meant to do: give us our identity.

Maybe the freedom we're looking for isn't found in achieving more—but in no longer needing our achievements to define us.

Summer is better when it's spent with neighbors!

Join us for Night to Unite on Tuesday, August 4 at 6:00 PM at New City Covenant Church. We'll have free food, live music, a bounce house, pickleball, basketball, and plenty of space to relax and connect with people in the community.
