🙌 Who Was Eliza Broadus — and Why Does She Matter?
Eliza Somerville Broadus (1851–1931) was a Kentucky Baptist woman whose passion for missions shaped generations. A tireless advocate for women’s involvement in ministry, she helped organize local WMU groups across the state, raised support for missionaries, and encouraged everyday Christians to pray, give, and serve.
🎯 Why it matters today:
The Eliza Broadus Offering, named in her honor, is how Kentucky Baptists fund vital missions work right here in our state. From church plants to campus ministries, refugee support to addiction recovery, this offering helps spread the gospel across Kentucky.
💛 When we give to the Eliza Broadus Offering, we’re not just honoring her legacy—we're actively joining God’s mission in our communities.
