🎨 Supporting Local Mission! 🏺

Yesterday, Wildwood members had the joy of partnering with Missy Gearen and her incredible mobile nonprofit pottery studio called “We Are the Clay” for an event with about 50 kids at QCCS!

​Missy’s uses the art of pottery to point the kids to Jesus through Isaiah 64—reminding these children that God is the Potter who uniquely and intentionally designed each one of them as He wills.

​How We Can Rally Around This Mission 👇

When Missy serves large groups like this, she needs a few extra sets of hands to help the classes run smoothly. A team of 4 is a perfect fit.

​We would love for Missy to have a "Go-To Volunteer Pool". This wouldn't be a rigid commitment—just a list of willing hearts she can reach out to when an upcoming class needs extra hands. If you’re free, you jump in; if not, no worries!

The kids did it!
During VBX: Creation Station, our kids not only learned about God’s amazing creation—they also crushed their missions fundraising goal! And as promised, Pastor Andrew paid the price… with a giant bucket of slime!

We know some of our VBX families weren’t able to make it to Family Night, so we wanted to share this special moment with you. Thank you to every child and family who gave so generously and helped make a difference through missions.

Thankful for a wonderful day of worship, God’s Word, and fellowship together.

Pastor Brian preached from 1 Samuel 30:9–31 in a message titled “The Measure of a Man.” He reminded us that God calls us to walk by the Spirit and not by the flesh. As men and women after God’s own heart, we are invited to bring our feelings, struggles, and burdens to Jesus. Godly leadership is marked by compassion and wisdom, strengthened by tenacity and protection, and expressed through humility and grace.

Life presents us with moments when we're unsure of the next step. The good news is that God doesn't expect us to figure everything out on our own. He invites us to come to Him and ask for wisdom, and He promises to give it generously.

This week, whatever you're facing, take a moment to seek God's guidance. Trust that He hears your prayers and will faithfully direct your path.

In part two of “Strengthened by the Lord,” Pastor Brian explores how David strengthened himself in the Lord his God as described in 1 Samuel 30:1-8.

When David’s world got turned upside down, David sought refuge the only place he could - in the person and presence of the Lord.

The weather may have been rainy, but God's faithfulness shined brightly this morning.

Pastor Brian led us through 1 Samuel 30:1-8 and reminded us that when life feels overwhelming, we can find strength in the Lord through His promises, His guidance, His forgiveness and restoration, and His eternal security.

We were blessed to worship together, partake in communion, and spend time in fellowship with one another. Grateful for another Sunday at Wildwood gathered in His presence.
