A post I made after we moved home from Illinois. The words in God’s Word and the reminder I posted that day is something I think we all need to be reminded of. The world has gone crazy and life is difficult right now for everybody, but we need to remember we are not under bo***ge, we have been set free!

Our hearts are deeply saddened, yet rejoicing for her, to hear of Sister Virginias passing! Our visits to Illinois will be forever changed! She was such a character but loved so much by our family! These goodbyes are just hellos riding on the waves, for when we see her again! Be much in prayer for her family, as they suffered a huge loss only a few months back (Larry McNew) and now the loss of Virginia also.

Such sad news, Brother Larry McNew passed away. Such a loss to those of us here, but we can rejoice knowing Brother Larry is at home with his Savior! He meant so much to Brian and I. Please help us pray for comfort for this family!

Services will be held at Van Hoe in East Moline.

Visitation is Thursday, October 21, 4:00-7:00
Funeral is Friday, October 22, 10:00

(A lil info on what's going on with us in bama)

I didn't get to send out Christmas cards this year! Life has been a bit crazy since we've been home.

We have 2 kids in college now and I am home schooling Meredyth!

After 3 closing dates falling through on our new house, we finally decided to just keep the house we have and totally remodel and add on! So I have had a bathroom counter sitting in my living-room and new flooring in boxes sitting in the living-room! It's really a huge mess! We are slowly making progress!

We just got the kids a new car... so they will have a ride as soon as they finally get their license!

Brian is just a hard worker as always. He works hard at his day job and then comes home and works on remodeling the house. He preaches at different places and on any given Sunday we may get called to go to a church to fill in. Other than that we are back at our home church. Brian is teaching Wednesday night class and I'm teaching Sunday school.

We miss you all very much and are looking forward to visiting sooner than later! We think about y'all all the time! We appreciate the Christmas cards we have received very much! We hope y'all have an amazing Christmas filled with love, peace and blessings! Love you all very much! Anytime y'all wanna call, text or visit... we are always happy to hear from y'all!!!!!! ♥️

Sometimes God’s plan doesn’t get completed because of man, so God creates a new plan! We have loved spending the last ‘almost’ 3 years getting to know y’all! We have made a new family and you will be missed! We will be visiting soon! 🥰

I hate that everybody couldn’t stay but we loved spending time with y’all after the service! Just as when we moved up here, it is bitter-sweet! We appreciate the support from those that wanted to just simply worship God and do what God ask us to and spread the gospel! Don’t ever let anybody get you to place anything above the Word of God, which is Jesus Christ our Savior! We didn’t accomplish all that God wanted us to here but we did see souls saved and saw people come out from their comfort zones! Wouldn’t take anything for the past, almost, 3 years with all of you! We love y’all very much! We are headed to Bama... seems like God has placed us on that path. Who knows what he has planned for us there, but be on the lookout because If we take another church in Bama or any other state... we will be recording services here on this page! We will try to keep y’all updated, on where we are and what God is doing with us and for us and through us! Hope to see y’all again before we leave, but if not on this side of eternity, Look for us at the feet of Jesus!
