Nursery available for kids age 0-5, at our 9:00 & 10:30 worship services. (East Moline only)

Silvis Campus:
9:00 am, Bible Study

All are welcome in worship and ministry at

either of our Christ Church campuses. Worship is an hour long, with music, prayer, and a message each week. Children are loved and welcomed in worship! Feel free to message us with questions about what to expect or or how to get connected.

SILVIS & EAST MOLINE FOOD PANTRIES RECEIVE SUPPORT

Recently, Tyla Sherwin-Cole, Executive Director of the Doris & Victor Day Foundation, visited the Silvis Food Pantry and met with Delight Gillman, Gloria Smith, and Dave Ramp. The purpose of the visit was to learn more about the progress, impact, challenges, and future needs of both the Silvis and East Moline food pantries.

Last fall, the Doris & Victor Day Foundation awarded a $4,000 grant to support the ministries of both pantries, and Tyla encouraged the pantries to apply again this year. The foundation focuses on grants that address basic human needs, making it an excellent partner in the work our pantries provide to the community.

For the past 35 years, the foundation has supported programs such as emergency assistance, affordable housing, childcare, job training, educational scholarships, and other community support services. During the visit, Tyla also shared information about additional local resources that may benefit both pantries and the families they serve.

We are grateful for the continued partnership and support of the Doris & Victor Day Foundation as we work together to care for our neighbors in need.

Fall 2026 Youth Pickleball Ministry — Registration NOW OPEN!

Christ Church Quad Cities is excited to launch another season of our Youth Pickleball Ministry, a program where young athletes grow in skill, confidence, teamwork, and Christ‑centered character. If your child is looking for a place to play, belong, and thrive this fall, we would love to welcome them to the court.

Pickleball at Christ Church is more than a sport — it’s a community. Each Saturday morning, players experience a balance of healthy competition, equal playing time, team devotions, and new friendships. Our coaches are committed to creating a fun, encouraging environment where every child feels valued and supported.

YOUTH: SERVING THE CHURCH & COMMUNITY

This week in Sunday School, the high school students discussed what are the next steps since they are now confirmed in the church. In confirmation classes, the students learned that they are to give their witness, talents, presence, prayer, and gifts in service to the church, God’s kingdom. This summer, the youth are asked to prioritize serving in the church and community.

As a part of our efforts to serve communities, we are inviting youth to join us to attend a Youth Rally in Macomb, IL on June 14th. The Rally will be held at the WIU Wesley Foundation that serves the college community in Macomb. Students will be participating in food packing, served dinner, and will enjoy worshipping together. The registration deadline is June 11th. Bus will leave around 2 pm and will return around 9 pm.

CHRISTIAN GONZALES IN CONCERT

Join us for an inspiring evening of music and worship as Riverside United Methodist Church and Christ United Methodist Church present Cadence: Where Musical Journeys Converge! This special concert will feature the incredible talents of pianist Christian Gonzales and violinist Madalyn Rose Pridemore in a beautiful performance celebrating the gift of sacred music.

The concert will be held at Christ United Methodist Church in East Moline on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Admission is free, and a freewill offering will be received to support Riverside United Methodist Church’s ongoing sacred music ministry efforts.

PARK VISTA LUNCHEON

I was able to hold a special luncheon to honor the Bible Fellowship group of Park Vista with the help of Maureen D. and the Outreach Ministry, Diana L, Janet G., and Theresa S. Park Vista served a delightful meal, Flo, the receptionist of the independent building, decorated the tables, complete with linen tablecloths.

We served a special dessert with fresh strawberries, had music, a game and a beautiful devotion! Individual bags of goodies and lots of conversation and laughter completed our time together with “my Peeps”!

Thank you to Diana, Maureen, Janet, Theresa, and Flo Nancy, and Maria of Park Vista. Could not have done this without each of you!
