The Great Commission
Before Jesus ascended into heaven following the resurrection, he left his disciples with some parting marching orders: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations..." Those words are as relevant today as they were way back when, and our calling is to find ways to be about disciple-making. Summer Bible Study
Our Summer Bible Study will have us working through the Gospel of John. Much different from Matthew, Mark, and Luke, the fourth Gospel invites us to unwrap the mystery of the person of Jesus and to gain clarity into the meaning of Christ. Sessions will be held on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. beginning June 10 and going through mid-August, both in-person and on Zoom with the link below. Please bring your Bible and inquiring mind and spend some time with us in thoughtful conversation. Those that can not attend on Wednesday mornings will be able to access archived recordings on our YouTube page.

Update: The Memorial Day Service on Monday, May 25th will now be held 1:00 p.m. at the East Bangor United Methodist Church located at 136 Central Ave. East Bangor, PA. Plenty of off street parking in the lot behind the church. Handicap accessible to reach the sanctuary.

Memorial Day Service
On Monday, May 25th we will be holding the annual Memorial Day service at the East Bangor Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Our guest speaker this year is U.S. Army veteran Perry Morris. In the event of rain, the service will be held in the church sanctuary. We hope you can join us as we remember those who gave their lives for our country.
