In Philippians 4:5-7, it says, “Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Since God is in control, we don’t have to be stressed or unkind. Trusting God changes how we treat people. Rather than worry, we can pray. God already knows our needs, so our prayers are not to inform Him. He has allowed each situation and wants us to come to Him about everything. When we pray, we should ask for what God wants. In return, He gives us a peace that only comes from Him through Jesus.
