While we all come from diverse cultural backgrounds, we all share a love for the mountains we call home. The landscape of the Appalachian Mountains have shaped much of the region’s culture, beliefs, and practices. Members of our Coven have combined the beliefs and practices born of this land with those that their ancestors brought with them, creating an eclectic and well-rounded group. We come fro

m all over the world but are united in our love for these mountains and our respect of tradition. The Coven of the Appalachian Mountains is a federally recognized 501c3 religious non-profit based in Dyke, Virginia, but with members spanning the US. We function as a safe community for people of all faiths to gather, respectfully discuss ideas and beliefs, and work towards achieving religious understanding and equality. In addition to federal recognition as a religious non-profit, the state of Virginia also recognizes the Coven of the Appalachian Mountains as a Religious Denominational Organization. Coven of the Appalachian Mountains ("us", "we", or "our") operates this Facebook and www.covenam.org (the "Sites"). If you're looking to support a great cause and get something in return, consider buying the Book of Shadows on the website. Every purchase made by Friday will benefit a young lady and her husband who are in need, whose heartbreaking story the board has personally witnessed. We are trying to get from Va to Sc. The tickets are 85$ a piece. Her plea for help is genuine, and we are committed to making a difference.
