On behalf of the parish community, we would like to offer our wholehearted blessings and best wishes to Kenny Francis as he officially enters the seminary this weekend. We enjoyed celebrating the next step in his path of service to the Lord with him and his family and friends this past weekend.

Let us continue to pray for Kenny and his family throughout his studies and journey into the priesthood.

The pilgrimage to St. Ann’s is this weekend! As is tradition we will again be walking as a Parish to St. Ann’s Basilica in honor of the feast day of St. Ann.

We will start at the Duryea Borough Building at 1:15 AM on Sunday morning, July 26. Please be there by 1:00 AM as we will leave at 1:15 AM sharp. We plan to arrive in time for the 4:30 AM mass at the Basilica.

It’s been one week since our picnic ended, and we’re already looking forward to eating some homemade food, drinking a cold drink, and coming together with all of you for another memorable weekend next year!

We would like to take the opportunity to thank our community, friends, and family for showing your support year after year. Your support, generosity, and kindness make the long planning and prep period worthwhile so we can all enjoy the summer picnic fun together! Thank you for your continued enthusiasm and support!

We couldn’t end this picnic season without thanking our wonderful volunteers and sponsors!

We would like to say a HUGE thank you to all of our volunteers and sponsors that donated their time and monetary support to help make this picnic successful!

It takes a village to put on an event of this magnitude. From those who prepped food on early spring mornings, to the support sorting and pricing flea market treasures, those who set up and built the picnic grounds in the summer heat, designed and crafted a ‘beautiful basket’ or shopped for prizes, to the volunteers who worked the weekend - all those in a stand, the kitchens, and the offices, and those working tirelessly behind the scenes THANK YOU!!

We appreciate each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for using your gifts and talents to help make this past weekend a memorable event for our entire community! We could not have done it without your support!
