Heritage Oaks Church

Heritage Oaks Church Welcome Home! We are a loving church whose passion is to share the love of Jesus with our community. We believe in one God-the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living. We believe that man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually. We believe that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost. We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human

race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin. We believe that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers. We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.

In just a few short weeks since its announcement, we are already well on our way to the financial goal needed to complete the planned projects here at the church. Would you like to sponsor specific parts of the project? Can you help with the overall costs? You can support what is being done through online giving or during the regular offerings received in the services by simply marking your giving as "Pavilion/Outdoor Project."

Changes will soon be seen on the east side of the church, just past the playground area, as contractors begin preparations to pour concrete for the 30x50 picnic pavilion and to level the ground for the soccer field beside it. Additionally, the material for the first six galvanized raised garden beds has been ordered to help complete Phase 1 of the project.

We are excited about creating space not only for our church family but also for our community. The vision is for youth to use the soccer field and basketball court, and for our community to use the free gardening space being made available to them to grow vegetables to promote a healthy diet. The pavilion can be used for church gatherings and outreach events, with the fire pit and activities such as horseshoes available for adults. All will be in close proximity to the existing playground for the children to use.

Funds have already started coming in, and we will move ahead as finances permit. The goal is to have things completed by October 30th for our Fall Festival. If you would like to support what is being done, label your giving, both online or in the weekly service, as "Pavilion/Outdoor Project."
