Sometimes the first step toward Jesus is simply being willing to come and see.

And for those of us who already follow Him—the question is: Who are we inviting to come and see with us?

You can look healthy on the outside and still be disconnected from the source of life.

We can learn the language.
Show up on Sundays.
Know the right answers.
Even learn how to look fruitful.

But you cannot staple fruit to a dead tree and call it healthy. 🍎

Jesus isn’t interested in manufactured fruit. He wants something real growing in us—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

The goal isn’t to look fruitful.
The goal is to stay connected to Jesus.

Because when the root is healthy, the fruit will eventually tell the story.

Heart Check: What’s actually growing in me?

God isn’t just interested in what’s growing around you. He cares about what’s growing in you. 🌱

We can spend a lot of energy trying to make our lives look fruitful—better habits, better behavior, better appearances. But behavior modification without heart transformation is just stapling fruit to a dead tree.

Jesus doesn’t want artificial fruit. He wants to change the root.

Because when the heart is healthy, the right fruit doesn’t have to be forced—it grows.

So here’s the Monday heart check:

Don’t just ask, “What am I producing?”
Ask, “What is God growing in me?”

🍎 A fruitful life starts with a fruitful heart.

YOU CAN LOVE JESUS AND STILL HAVE HARD DAYS. ❤️

Faith doesn’t mean you never get tired.
It doesn’t mean you never cry.
It doesn’t mean you always understand what God is doing.

Sometimes faith looks like saying,
“Jesus, I don’t understand this… but I’m still trusting You.”

You don’t have to pretend you’re okay.
You just have to remember Who is with you.

Jesus is still good.
Jesus is still near.
Jesus is still working.

If this is where you are today, don’t give up. Keep going. He’s not finished yet.

“The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.”
