Never forget.

John 15:13. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.

We are beyond thankful for those who gave their lives trying to save lives. This includes service men and women in the years following 9/11 in the battle against terrorism.
This also includes many who served in the cleanup and now bear the health burden of the destruction.

Yes, There are people who are bent on death and destruction. We pray for our enemies.
Thanking God that people are hearing the Gospel (Jesus died on the cross for the forgiveness of sins and rose from the dead to defeat Satan and death) and they are leaving their life of destruction and living in the grace of Christ.

In John chapter 15, Christ is the vine and we are the branches. We bear fruit by loving and serving because Jesus loves us.

Let us Christians be the light of Christ to a world that needs the peace of Christ.

Be careful driving in all intersections but especially by church. There was another accident this morning when someone ran the red light and hit the right rear quarter panel of another car. No one was hurt.

The Book of Concord is available online for free.
Enjoy these Lutheran Confessions from 1580.

Probably the most important is article 4 of the Augsburg Confession on justification.

All of this goes back to Scripture. Let me know if you have any questions. It’s fun to dive into the Word/Holy Scripture together. Praying for the Holy Spirit to inform our faith in Christ Jesus our Savior.

Explore The Book of Concord, the definitive collection of Lutheran confessional writings, including the Augsburg Confession, Small Catechism, and more.
