Seek the Lord.

When you’re facing a world that has an overwhelming number of things that could worry you or make you afraid, the solution is to seek the Lord over anything else. It sounds too simple or impractical, but even David made it clear that God was his only salvation in times of trouble and fear.

Today we are thankful for all of the men and women who laid down their lives so our people and freedoms could live on. We honor their sacrifice by remembering it.

We also pray for those who have lost someone they loved in service to our nation. We pray that God will comfort them and encourage them today.

Thankful for the opportunity to be the Church at the park on Sunday night! It was so great to see all of you outside our walls, and spend some quality time together.

We hope you have a blessed week, and we’re looking forward to seeing you again this Sunday already!

This week, we are praying for the Sherwoods in Panama! They have been serving in Panama since 2015, especially through the ministries of Iglesia Bautista La Gracia which they launched in the area of Boquete in 2017.

They are specifically thankful at the moment for salvations, a baptism, some recently completed church projects, and the community response to their Easter service!

They’ve also asked us to pray for their ongoing church ministries, Jackie’s health in regards to her neck and treatments related to it, upcoming mission teams, and future projects to complete.
