Open Letter to My Fellow Haitians in the Face of Mass Deportation Rumors 🇭🇹

Dear brothers and sisters,

Rumors are spreading fast: a wave of mass deportations of Haitians is reportedly being prepared in the United States. Whether true or exaggerated, once again our people live under the threat of being uprooted.

To those directly affected: Stay informed, seek legal support, and don’t act out of fear. Your dignity does not depend on your immigration status, but on your humanity. You are not alone.

To those here or abroad: Don’t remain silent. Speak up, inform your loved ones, and be channels of solidarity.

To the Haitian authorities: Be ready to receive your sons and daughters. Do not abandon them again.

This is not a time to panic — it is a time to organize, to take action, and above all, to stay united.

Haitian history is a story of struggle, exile, and return — but never of resignation.

You cannot deport a people who know how to stand tall.

Open letter to my fellow Haitians facing rumors of massive deportations 🇭🇹

Dear brothers and sisters,

The rumors are going well: a wave of massive deportations of Haitians is being prepared in the United States. Whether true or exaggerated, our people are once again living under the threat of extortion.

To whom it may concern: Stay informed, seek legal support, do not act in fear. Your dignity does not depend upon your status, but upon your humanity. Don't stay alone.

To those who are here and elsewhere: Don't keep silent. Mobilize yourself, inform your loved ones, be in solidarity relays.

To the Haitian authorities: Prepare to receive your sons and daughters. Don't give up on them again.

This is not the time to give in to panic, but the time to organize, act, and most importantly, stand together.

Haitian history is made of struggles, exiles, returns. But never a resignation.

We don't deport a people that know how to stand.
