Divine rainwater stimulates plant development, presenting a wonderful spectacle. It's a marvelous sight to behold. Once the rain touches the ground, it's akin to applying Miracle-Gro in liquid form.

As summer begins and school breaks for the season, the quest for engaging, budget-friendly activities for youngsters can be overwhelming. In response, we invite children aged 4-12 to participate in 'Rainforest Falls' Vacation Bible School, where the wonders of nature serve as a backdrop for exploring faith.

The program will run June 1st through June 6th, 11:30 am to 3:30 pm, at New Jerusalem Praise and Worship Center, located at 4152 Midway Road. Lunch will be provided for all attendees. We look forward to sharing this experience with your family.

Watch us grow at the Midway Community Garden. On Earth day we had a garden clean up and we have played in the dirt and now watching the earth bring about plant growth that soon will bring forth a harvest that are tastebuds can delight in and our bodies nutritionally benefit from

The A Hub for Hope Returning Citizens program recently hosted a supportive event on Saturday, offering a platform for individuals post-incarceration to find solace, opportunities, and hope, while emphasizing that past errors do not limit future potential. The event featured a panel consisting of Jocelyn Wallace of The Never Alone Clubhouse, Winston Smith, reentry facilitator at the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Pastor Ford from Vision 21 Concepts, and returning citizens Ilena, Leah, Dwight, and Ambrose Laster, who discussed their personal experiences and the challenges faced by many in similar situations.
