GOD WANTS BELL RINGERS FOR JESUS! He already has enough ding-dongs and ding-a-lings.

– DEAR VICTORY BAPTIST CHURCH FAMILY AND FRIENDS, THIS IS YOUR LORD'S DAY, SUNDAY, MAY 31, 2026, WORSHIP BULLETIN –

And you'll hear the above again in my sermon tomorrow. But we will have a lot of fun doing it!

First, it will be a short sermon.

Secondly, we will pass out small bells to everyone in attendance, and especially to the children and youth who will join me upfront to "help me preach my sermon with their bells."

And my message is titled, "RING THE BELLS OF HEAVEN: BELL RINGERS FOR JESUS!" from Acts 1:8, and 1 Corinthians 14:8.

Thirdly, at the end of my sermon we will go outside and quickly dedicate the newly restored VBC VICTORY BELL, and the one who brings the most friends will get to ring the bell first, along with his friends!

Everybody will have a chance to ring The Victory Bell before it's over! Let's wake up and stir up our neighborhood for Jesus!

Lastly, but not least, we will go back inside and enjoy a wonderful time of fellowship at the table eating hotdogs and all the delicious sides and desserts that the members bring!

Yes! Wear comfortable clothing for outdoors! We'll be out there for at least a few minutes. I'm not wearing a tie but slacks and a short sleeve shirt. And it will be a casual and uplifting time of seriously celebrating Jesus, as we are challenged to become, "Bona Fide Bell Ringers for Him!"

You & Yours are INVITED to be, "BELL RINGERS FOR JESUS," this Sunday!

You see, we've restored and relocated an old church bell of ours by etecting it by the church sign, and we're going to ring it so loud that it'll be heard up in Heaven!

The bell is heavy cast iron and makes a "deep and loud dong-of-a-ring!" (We are going to wake and shake up the neighborhood for Jesus one way or another! HA!)

Those members who bring the most friends/guests this Sunday, May 31, will get to ring the bell first along with their friends! Every one that wants to will get a chance to ring it.

Also, as long as supplies last, all will get a little bell in worship to ring at times during the Pastor's sermon – guaranteed to be interesting, especially with the Children's Worship Kids staying and sitting up front close to Pastor!

After the service and bell ringing everyone will gather for a free meal of tasty hot dogs and a variety of delicious side dishes and drinks!

You don't wanna miss it! It all begins at 9:45 AM for Sunday School and 11 AM for the worship service.

"WHY DON'T YOU LIKE TO SEE PEOPLE SAVED?" asked the friend of his fellow church member.

"OH! I DO! I guess it's the next best thing to my own salvation! It's wonderful!"

"I don't believe you," the friend bluntly replied.

"What? Why do you say that?"

"I never see or hear of you witnessing to a lost person. You don't even invite others to our church."

The Scriptures tell us, "there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents." If we were really as excited as Heaven is when a lost soul is found and saved, we would be witnessing a whole lot more. At least be inviting people to Bible preaching church services.

We are no better than the Jewish Pharisees, Sadducees, and demons of Hell when we are nonchalant and unconcerned about the souls of lost men.

We not only serve a saving God, but He first seeks us in order to save us. And what rejoicing there is in Heaven, and can be in our own lives and church, when we seek out and lead others to Jesus!

That's why tomorrow I'm preaching on, "SEEKING EARNESTLY SOMETHING THAT IS LOST & REJOICING EXCEEDINGLY WHEN IT IS FOUND!" (How to Improve Even More the Disposition of Our Church) ~Luke 15:1-32

SHE COULD HAVE GOTTEN ALONG WITHOUT YOU, but you for sure could NOT have gotten along without her!

Yes, "she" is your Mother, the first person you ever met. And she's the second person, only to The LORD, that has shown you the greatest amounts of mercy and grace!

I asked Sister Mrs. Cook if she would still love me when I got old, wrinkly, absent minded, and my hair turned white, and she replied, "I do."

Oh, my! The challenges and realities of getting older! But, take it from one who turned 70 this year, there are some definite blessings!

And this Sunday we will be recognizing all Senior Saints, 55 and older, and celebrating them with a special message (see bulletin) from the Pastor and an invitation for all Seniors to join in to make up and sing in the Senior Adult Choir!

We will be recognizing May birthdays, also!

And giving to the Georgia Baptist Children's Home for Mother's Day begins!

TONIGHT'S 4/22/26 WEDS NITE MEETINGS ARE CANCELLED – Workers are continuing to resurface and paint stripes for our church's parking area including the drive around the cemetery.

It is best that we not drive or park on it for the next several days.

BUT it will be ready for this Sunday's services. So let's fill every parking space by being present and inviting folks to join us to do so!

Wednesday Night Bible Study & Prayer Meeting will resume next Wednesday, April 29!

THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST IS NOT ONLY INSPIRATIONAL, it is ABSOLUTELY MONUMENTAL!
