Thank You Lord!!!!
Lord, help me not to mishandle what I prayed for.
The weight of answered prayer.
The fear that you're not ready.
The whisper that maybe you asked for too much.
The trembling hands that finally hold what your heart longed for.
There's something both beautiful and terrifying about getting what you've prayed for, isn't it? You spent all those nights on your knees, pouring out your heart, believing and hoping and sometimes doubting. And now here it is — the relationship, the opportunity, the breakthrough, the healing you desperately wanted.
But with the gift comes responsibility. With the blessing comes the very real fear that you might mess it up. That your old patterns might creep in. That you might not be the person worthy of this grace you've been given.
Here's what I want you to know: God doesn't give you things to watch you fail with them. He doesn't answer your prayers as some cosmic test you're destined to flunk. When He moves in your life, He's also equipping you. When He opens doors, He's also preparing your feet to walk through them with wisdom.
You may see your own inadequacy / He sees His strength working through you.
You may see your past mistakes / He sees your surrendered heart.
You may see reasons to be afraid / He sees reasons to trust His grace in you.
The very fact that you're praying this prayer tells me your heart is in the right place. You're not taking His goodness for granted. You're not assuming you can coast on blessing without staying connected to the Blesser.
Lord, help me not to mishandle what I prayed for.
Stay close to Him.
Trust His grace to sustain what His love has given.
You're not walking this alone.
