In this lesson, “The Family God Intended,” we examine the biblical foundation of the family from the beginning of creation. God did not create the family by accident—He designed marriage, gave order to the home, blessed the bringing forth of children, and gave clear instructions for husbands, wives, parents, children, and the church.

We will look at how God intended the family to operate in love, honor, correction, faithfulness, respect, and holiness. The scriptures show us that the family is a sacred institution that must be protected from rebellion, bitterness, lust, fornication, adultery, and every influence that breaks down the home.

This lesson also addresses the responsibilities within the household: husbands loving their wives, wives being honorable, children obeying their parents, parents not provoking their children, and believers maintaining purity and righteous judgment within the body of Christ.

God’s family order is not based on the standards of the world, but on His Word. When the family follows God’s design, it becomes a place of strength, teaching, love, discipline, and spiritual growth.
