Excerpts from Sparkling Gems II by Rick Renner September 7

“For by the grace [of God] given to me I say to everyone of you not to think more highly of himself [and of his importance and ability] than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has apportioned to each a degree of faith [and a purpose designed for service].”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭3‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“MY PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, I am amazed by Your design for the Body of Christ, with each of us interdependent upon the other. Alone we can do our small parts, but together we can accomplish a greater goal. I ask You to help me really see and understand this truth. I repent of the pride that has tried to creep in to make me despise small things or to hinder me from cooperating with others to fulfill my part in Your plan. I confess that these are areas where I need to grow. Father, You resist the proud, but You give grace to the humble. I ask You for Your grace to help me reach new levels in these areas so I can glorify You and be a true blessing to others. I pray this in Jesus’ name!”

“MY CONFESSION FOR TODAY
I confess that I am well aware of my interdependence with others in the Body of Christ. You called us as a whole Body so that we may work properly and accomplish greater goals. I am not willing to be independent in the way I operate. By the grace of God working in me, I submit myself to God and resist the temptation to overestimate myself. I will appreciate those who are called alongside me to work, and I will humbly esteem their great value to God and also to me. The visible and less visible members are equally important, and as I walk with God, I am becoming ever more aware of my need to do my part, along with those who are called by God to do their own part. I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!”

Prayer Warriors Pastor Luvunia Robert is holding a crusade in Uganda. Both of their vehicles broke down. The ministry vehicle’s radiator is broke and Robert’s car needs tires. They were able to get there but they’ll need to get home. Also a curfew has been placed. He said they are facing heavy resistance. Agree all their needs are met according to His (Jesus) riches in glory! Souls Jesus🙏❤️

Excerpts from Sparkling Gems II by Rick Renner September 2nd

“And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭1‬:‭35‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭1‬:‭35‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Jesus sought a secluded place where He could enter into fellowship with the Holy Spirit. He understood that the strength and anointing He needed depended on His fellowship with the Father and the Holy Spirit. So Jesus made it His highest priority to withdraw from the disciples and from the multitudes very early in the morning to spend time fellowshipping with the Father and the Holy Spirit without interruption.”

“Jesus always sought a “solitary” place where He would not be disturbed.”

“In other words, Jesus sought for a place where no one would accidentally find Him and disturb this solitary time in prayer. This demonstrates just how vitally important it was to Jesus to find time alone where the Father could speak to His heart and He could pour His heart out to the Father and fellowship with the Holy Spirit.”

“He longs to have this time with you — and you must have it if you are to live as an overcoming, victorious, empowered child of God.”

“MY PRAYER FOR TODAY
Heavenly Father, I make a fresh commitment to start each day by lifting my voice to You. Each morning, Lord, I will rise and present my life to You, waiting expectantly for what You will speak to my heart. I ask Your forgiveness for all the times I foolishly launched into my day without having read your Word, sought Your face, or consulted the Holy Spirit whom You sent to be my Counselor, Helper, and Guide. Father, how arrogant and misguided of me to believe I could walk effectively in wisdom and truth without having submitted myself to You first. Only through rich fellowship with You can I produce fruit that remains. Forgive me for mistaking busyness for fruitfulness. I abide in You and let Your words abide in me. I treasure the words of Your mouth more than my necessary food. Holy Spirit, I ask You to help me order my day and to keep it set around giving my time with the Father first place from this day forward. I pray this in Jesus’ name!”

“MY CONFESSION FOR TODAY
I confess that I do not neglect my time in a “solitary place” with God. I deliberately designate an off-limits time and place where I can have deep, meaningful, and uninterrupted fellowship with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Just as Jesus arose a great while before day to meet with the Father and then emerged from His solitary times renewed in power, I come forth from my daily times refreshed, reinvigorated, filled with new ideas, and empowered for my day. These moments of solitude with the Father keep my heart sensitive and yielded to Him while equipping me to possess my daily victory in the power of His might! I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!”

When Stephen and I pastored in inner city Chicago I taught the women whom the Lord entrusted me to get a pad of paper and pen and lay it by their bed. Before their feet hit the floor they were to pray in the Spirit and pray with their understanding also. They were to write down what the Holy Spirit revealed to them to do for that day. Whom to call, whom to visit, whom to help. What to do. 100% of the time Jesus would lead and guide each woman individually by His Holy Spirit and they would have a Supernatural day! I called it “Our Daily Destiny”!

I myself have not been faithful. I’ve been caught up in the cares of this life. However, these last few days of spending time in the devotional Sparkling Gems II has really stirred me up to repent and return to my first love Jesus and do the things I used to do when I dedicated my life to following Jesus.
I hope this inspires you to do the same❤️

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Excerpts from Sparkling Gems II by Rick Renner August 25

“The most common thing that causes one to loosen his grip is weariness. That’s why Paul urges you not to throw in the towel in times of spiritual, physical, or mental exhaustion. It’s exciting to plant seeds of faith, and it’s really exciting when harvest comes. But in order to reach that point of reaping, you must hold on tight to what God has told you and remember that your seed has a set season when it will produce if you don’t disrupt the process.

MY PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, I have been sowing seeds and waiting for my harvest for quite some time. It is true that I have been tempted to become tired and weary of waiting. So today I thank You because You said those who wait upon You shall renew their strength! I thank You for renewing and replenishing me as I patiently wait for my harvest. Your Word promises that it will come in due season. Holy Spirit, strengthen me with Your mighty power to stay the course until my due season arrives. I receive fresh grace to remain steady and on track with the project that You have assigned to me to complete! In those moments when I’m tempted to be tired and quit, help me remember that I can grab hold of Your power and not stray from my God-assigned purpose! I pray this in Jesus’ name!

MY CONFESSION FOR TODAY
I confess that I refuse to give up in times of spiritual, physical, or mental exhaustion. I will reach that point of fulfillment when I reap because I will hold tightly to what God has told me. God promised me in Galatians 6:9 that if I will remain steadfast, the manifestation of what I’ve been waiting for and believing to happen will come. On the basis of this promise, I REFUSE TO GIVE UP AND QUIT. I declare by faith that it’s only a matter of time until my long-awaited blessing arrives. Instead of caving in to weariness and the temptation to quit, I will lift up my hands in thanksgiving. I make the choice to praise God with a grateful heart as I keep thanking God for the harvest He has in store for me! I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!”

“Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭31‬-‭33‬ ‭ESV‬‬

August 20-Sparkling Gems II by Rick Renner
“MY PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, as I reflect on my life, the truth is that You have been faithful to me from the very beginning. I repent for every time I yielded to the temptation to worry and fret instead of trusting You. Father, I ask You to please help me grow up and mature in this area of my life. I have no reason to ever doubt You, for You have always been faithful to me. Help me remember Your faithfulness rather than focus on the needs that seem so large and insurmountable. Your name is Faithful — and You will be faithful to me now and always! I pray this in Jesus’ name!”

“MY CONFESSION FOR TODAY I confess that I do not worry about God’s provision for my life. God has always been faithful to me, and He always will be faithful. Faithful is one of His names. He will always sustain all those who trust in Him and cast their burden on Him. Likewise, God will sustain me and help me. Even if my eyes cannot see the way, I know He is going to do it. Everything that I see is subject to change. Therefore, I focus my attention on the unchanging Word and the faithful character of God. I cast my burden on Him, and I trust Him to meet the needs of my life and to help me do the large tasks He has commissioned me to do! I declare this by faith in Jesus’ name!” ❤️

Excerpts from my morning reading in the book “The Call” by Rick Joyner p.53-54
(Rick Joyner speaking)
“I ask for the mercy of the cross.”
(Wisdom speaking)
“You will be given mercy because you have asked for it. I will give you more time. My mercy to you is time.”
(Wisdom speaking)
“There is one characteristic to the overcomers in every age—they did not waste their time!”
(Wisdom speaking)
“In My mercy, I am giving you this warning. Warn My people that in my mercy, I will no longer let them presume My mercy. In My mercy, My discipline will be upon them. Warn them not to harden their hearts, but to repent and turn to Me.”

Lord Jesus help me use my time wisely today. Thank you for your mercy🙏❤️
