Check out what Luna is up to now!
Someone suggested we do a series of introductions about LVR staff alumni, similar to what we did for this year's summer staff. We thought, what a great idea! So here we go.
This is Ruth Moon, camp name Luna! Luna is now a Mission Parter with Mission of Christ Network. In August she will be moving to Costa Rica to spend 2 years teaching English and sharing the gospel!
Luna says that it's hard to choose just one thing that was the most valuable takeaway from working as a staff member at LVR. She learned so much about living and working in Christian community with imperfect people and also how powerful God's love is. One piece of advise that she would give new staff coming to LVR is this: "Figure out how you rest the best and use your free time to do that! The summer is a marathon not a sprint, the last thing you want is to be completely out of energy after the first couple weeks."
Great advice, Luna! It's awesome to hear how you are using your gifts to spread the gospel. We're sure Costa Rica will be an amazing experience. God's blessings as you serve Him.
