September 13, 2026: Grandparents Sunday
Scripture:1 Peter 3:18
Title: "Get your grow on." Life is good because God is good.
1 We must learn to feed ourselves. It's a relationship with the Lord.
Start your day daily: Thank Him for waking you, read your Bible & devotionals, pray, and listen to what the Holy Spirit has to say to your heart, praise Him all day.
2 We must know how to allow others to feed us. Come together, sisters & brothers in Christ, Minister to each other, pray for each other, lift folks up instead of tearing them down.
3 We must know how to walk with God. We need to listen to how God speaks to us through others. If He puts someone on your heart, reach out to them & or pray for them.
4 We must know how to reproduce. (be a mature Christian)
"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Mark 16:15 (KJV) "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last." John 15:16.
5 Teach our children about the Father, Son & Holy Spirit, not what the world has to offer. Children learn by example. As long as we are breathing, it is never too late to teach the word of God and about the free gift of salvation.
6 "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen." — 2 Peter 3:18 (NIV)
