Sunday July 12th from 5-7 PM we will be giving away canned foods to the Diehlstadt community. We also have some toiletry items, ice cream and popsicles. The canned goods were donated by the employees of Americold and the ice cream was donated by the Magnum Ice Cream Company in Sikeston. We welcome anyone who can benefit from these items to come pick some up. You can enter through the side door of the fellowship hall. Hope to see you there. God bless.

We are in need of some bookshelves. Color doesn’t matter. They will be in our kids storage room. We are organizing so that we can make space for our VBS!!

We would like to welcome everyone to our 68th Homecoming celebration on Sunday June 7th. We will be providing a meal following our worship service. After the meal, (at around 1:30pm), Brother Mitch Pullen will be singing and ministering with music. Please come join us in worship and fellowship together. We look forward to seeing you all and may the Lord Jesus Christ richly bless you.

Update from Abby on Brenda-

This was the last update from Rob.

“Dr just left, said she has set up aspirating pneumonia in her right lung! No ct scan at this moment! Also said she is very fragile & weak & will need a lot of help either skilled nursing of in home therapy! She may get to go home after they try to build her muscles so she can walk! But with her age she may be in & out of hospital!

She is on a no drink no food diet, they also are going to run a camera down her throat”

I took the twins to the hospital this morning. She recognized all of us. But she is very very weak.

Please pray for papaw too. He’s trying to be strong for her.

We are unsure of next steps. I’m going to offer to stay tonight so that papaw can go home and sleep. I doubt he will accept.

She is having a scope today at 2

Please pray for Sis. Brenda Cooksey. She is in the hospital right now dealing with some severe pain. May God have his mighty hand upon her, in Jesus’ name.
