Today, we would like to express our sincere appreciation for our Associate Pastor, Bro. Steve Phillips, and his wife, Betty.

Bro. Steve has been a tremendous blessing to our church through his faithful service, leadership, and dedication to the work of the Lord. Whether he is preaching from the pulpit, teaching Sunday School, helping with church events, or stepping in wherever there is a need, he is always willing to serve with a joyful heart.

One of the many things we appreciate about Bro. Steve is his desire to see our church continue moving forward while always keeping Christ at the center of everything we do. He is constantly thinking about ways to strengthen and encourage our church family while remaining grounded in God’s Word.

We are especially thankful for his encouragement and leadership in helping restore our Sunday evening worship services after nearly a decade without them. His commitment to worship, fellowship, and the spiritual growth of our congregation has been a blessing to many.

Behind every faithful servant is often a faithful supporter, and we are equally thankful for Betty and all she does for our church. Together, they have invested countless hours, prayers, and acts of service into this ministry.

Please join us in thanking Bro. Steve and Betty for their love, faithfulness, and dedication to Dexter Pentecostal Church. We are blessed to have them as part of our church family and appreciate all they do for the Kingdom of God.

🎁 Coming Soon–Operation Christmas Child 🎁

We are now less than 5 months away from launching our church’s second annual Samaritan's Purse: Operation Christmas Child outreach project!

Last year, our church family came together in an incredible way to help share the love of Christ with children around the world through shoebox gifts. We were blessed to be a part of this wonderful ministry, and this year we are praying for an even greater impact.

As we begin preparing for this year’s collection, we are excited to see what God will do through the generosity of our church family and community. Our goal is to make this year’s outreach bigger and better than ever and, with God’s help, to surpass last year’s donation record!

Operation Christmas Child is about much more than a shoebox. Each gift is an opportunity to share God’s love, bring joy to a child, and help spread the Gospel around the world.

We encourage everyone to begin praying now for this ministry, for the children who will receive these gifts, and for all those who will hear the message of Jesus through this outreach.

Stay tuned for more information in the coming months as we begin collecting items and preparing for another exciting year of ministry through Operation Christmas Child! 📦❤️✝️

Today, we would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation for our pastor, Bro. Elijah Balentine.

For more than 45 years, Bro. Elijah has faithfully served both the Lord and the people of this church. Through seasons of joy and seasons of difficulty, he has remained committed to the calling God placed upon his life.

Over the years, he has preached and taught countless services, morning and evening, ministered to families in times of need, led many souls to the Lord, and played a vital role in countless programs, events, and ministries within our church. While the number of sermons preached and lives touched may never be fully known this side of Heaven, the impact of his ministry is evident in the lives of so many.

Even through numerous health challenges, Bro. Elijah has continued to serve however he is able, demonstrating faithfulness, perseverance, and a deep love for God and His people. His dedication to this church and to the work of the Lord has been an inspiration to generations.

We are thankful for his leadership, his prayers, his wisdom, and his unwavering commitment to the Gospel. Please join us in thanking God for Bro. Elijah and all he has meant to our church family over these many years.

We love and appreciate you, Pastor, and we look forward to many more years of fellowship and ministry together. May God continue to bless you richly. ❤️🙏
