🟡 When/ where do you serve?
"I serve Sunday Mornings at the Welcome Wagon!"

🟡 How long have you been serving?
"About 24ish years"

🟡 Favorite part about serving?
"I enjoy knowing that parents are able to be comfortable in Sunday service and have the time to hear God's word without distractions. While also knowing their kids are being cared for and being exposed to the Gospel!"

🟡 What is your favorite sucker flavor?
"Orange!"

FAMILY FUN FRIDAY 🤪

🟡 Preschool Ministry- Kindness Cards
Have some creative fun today! Grab some construction paper and crayons and make a card for a friend. As you are creating an appreciation card for a teacher or friend, pair it with some fish-shaped crackers as a snack. See if your preschoolers can share the story of Jonah in their own words. Talk about how God is kind, and we can be kind to others.

🟡 Children's Ministry- Silly Supper
Tonight, have a Silly Supper! Eat out of pots and pans. Drink out of bowls. You can even eat on the floor! The sillier, the better! Use this as a chance to remind your kids that whenever we make wrong choices—whether they are silly or serious—God always forgives us.

Take 1 day this week to ask these 2 questions and spend 3 minutes talking about them: When can it be hard to forgive someone? How can remembering how God is kind and forgiving to us help us be kind and forgiving to others?

"I serve at the Welcome Wagon and as Security on Wednesday Nights!"

"Just over a month! I heard the announcement Sunday morning that the Farm needed help and I felt the call to serve."

🟡 Favorite part about serving?
"Getting to see everyone smiling faces and all the kids excited about coming to church."

🟡 What is your favorite sucker flavor?
"For Sure Green Apple!"

Children's Ministry:

This Sunday we talked about how God is merciful and kind, as we see in the story of Jonah. God was kind to the people of Nineveh and to Jonah – even when they didn’t deserve it. Share your own story of how kindness and mercy have made a difference in your life and share ideas about how you can show kindness to others, just like God has done for us.

🚨 Preschool Ministry 🚨

In our new series To the Rescue, preschoolers are learning about how “God is Kind to Me.” This week, we focused on the story of Jonah and how God showed kindness to Jonah and the people of Nineveh. Ask your preschooler: “God is kind and will forgive you when you do something wrong. How can we tell Him thank You?”

Pray for these 4 things:

1. Thank God that He knows you and loves you.
2. Ask God to help you find joy and peace in knowing that you are known by God.
3. Pray for one another.
4. Pick one other person to pray for—that they would know they are seen, known, and loved by God.
