ATID (Grades 3-5)
Programs are held once a month on Sundays following Religious School. Lunch or a snack is provided, and programs are held either at the Hebrew Educational Alliance, Goldberger Youth Center or at a different offsite location. Atid also has a Shabbaton held at the Goldberger Youth Center every Februrary. Nitzanim (Grades 6-8)
Programs are held once or twice per month on either a S
aturday night program or a Sunday afternoon program. Programs are different in nature, but are geared towards being fun and while learning more about Judaism. Nitzanim also has a yearly overnight program called "Extravaganza” in the winter and an end of the year Shabbaton called “CRSH”. Other larger activities include Snow Tubing in January and White Water Rafting in June. Mile Chai Youth (MChY) (Grades 9-12)
Our High School Youth Group, Mile Chai Youth (MChY), meets three times a month including one Friday evening Shabbat service and dinner, one Saturday evening program and one Wednesday evening program. 8th Graders are invited to attend Mile Chai Youth (MChY)events during the second semester of their 8th Grade year. There is an elected group of teen board members that meet once a month and plan various programs including lounge nights, social action events, membership programs, and many more. Larger programs include “Skinnus” Ski Retreat in February and our end of the year weekend Shabbaton called CRSH. There will also be travel opportunities for our MHUSY Chapter in the coming years. Mile Chai Youth (MChY) is also responsible for participating in various Hebrew Educational Alliance programs including the Annual Picnic, Youth Led Shabbat, the Purim Carnival, connecting with the Religious School and helping through Tikkun Olam.
