🌱 MAIZE GARDEN PROGRESS | PREPARING FOR THE SEED 🌽

Another encouraging day here at God’s Village! 🙏❤️

Today we spent much of the day measuring and marking our planting rows, digging the planting holes, and carefully applying fertilizer as we prepare the garden for the maize seed.

There is a purpose behind every step. 🌱

The planting lines help us keep the maize properly and consistently spaced, while the prepared holes give each seed its planting place. The fertilizer will provide important nutrients as the young maize begins to establish and grow.

Looking across this ground today, my heart simply says:

Awesome Jesus! Look how far You have brought us. 🙌

We are not at the harvest yet. We are not even at germination yet. But preparation is progress too. ❤️🌱

🙏 Thank You, Jesus, for bringing us this far—step by step, our maize garden is getting ready for planting! 🌱🌽

Now we prepare the soil, plant the seed, do our part faithfully—and trust God for the increase.

📖 “I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.” — 1 Corinthians 3:6

🌱 FOOD FOR TODAY. SEED FOR TOMORROW.

🙏 GROWING INTO MATURITY

Encounter 1: Feeding on the Word

📖 Hebrews 5:12–14 | Ephesians 4:15

You eat every day because your body needs food to remain strong. But have you ever stopped to ask yourself:

What am I feeding my spirit?

🔥 You cannot grow spiritually if you are not feeding spiritually.

Jesus said, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” — Matthew 4:4

Just as food strengthens your physical body, God’s Word strengthens your spirit. You cannot expect spiritual strength while starving yourself spiritually.

And God does not want you to remain a spiritual baby forever.

Hebrews 5:12–14 challenges you to move from milk to solid food. There comes a time when simply hearing sermons is not enough. You must begin to understand the Word, apply it, obey it, and allow it to shape the way you live.

🔥 God loves you where you are, but He calls you to grow.

As you continually feed on His Word, something begins to change inside you. You develop wisdom. You grow in discernment. Your obedience becomes stronger. Your life becomes more like Christ.

The pathway is simple:

READ IT → BELIEVE IT → OBEY IT → LIVE IT.

🌱 No Word = No Growth.
🌱 More Word + Obedience = Maturity.

So today, ask yourself personally:

Am I truly growing, or have I become comfortable surviving on yesterday’s spiritual food?

Open your Bible. Feed your spirit. Obey what God shows you. Keep growing.

🙏 PRAYER:
Lord, give me a genuine hunger for Your Word. Help me not to remain where I am spiritually. Teach me, strengthen me, and help me grow into maturity and become more like Christ. Amen.

🔥 MY DECLARATION:
I WILL FEED ON THE WORD.
I WILL GROW.
I WILL MATURE! 🌱🔥

❤️ SOME DAYS, YOU JUST NEED TO REMEMBER WHY YOU KEEP GOING.

Today has been one of those very busy and tiring days.

So tonight I found myself looking back through some of our God’s Village memories, and this photo of me and our daughter Faswika stopped me. 😊❤️

That smile. That laughter. That simple moment between a father and daughter.

Nothing complicated—just one of those memories that reminds me that behind all the work, responsibilities, long days and challenges, there are children worth showing up for every single day.

Sometimes ministry is preaching.
Sometimes it is planning, solving problems and carrying responsibilities.

And sometimes it is simply being there—laughing together, loving our children and building a family. ❤️

Tonight I may be tired, but this picture reminded me:

The work is worth it. Our children are worth it. And by God’s grace, we keep going. 🙏❤️

Sometimes Daddy just needs a smile like Faswika’s to remember why he keeps going. 😊❤️

🙏❤️ BEFORE OUR DAY ENDS HERE IN UGANDA…

As another day comes to an end here at God’s Village in Uganda, I wanted to leave you with this simple moment. ❤️

Seeing our children close their eyes, fold their hands, and pray always touches my heart.

There are many things we desire for our children—their education, health, dreams and future—but above all, we want them to grow knowing God, trusting Him, and learning that they can always talk to their Heavenly Father.

These little hands may be small, but the prayers they lift are precious. 🙏❤️

❤️🚙 SOME THINGS STOP RUNNING—BUT THEIR STORY DOESN’T END.

Looking at these photos always makes me smile.

Today, our children see an old vehicle to climb into, pretend to drive, laugh around and proudly claim as their own. 😂❤️

But this vehicle carries a history they may not fully understand.

There was a time when it served as our God’s Village ambulance.

When a child suddenly became sick, this was the vehicle we depended upon. Over difficult island roads, it helped us reach medical care. It transported food and supplies and served our God’s Village family through many challenging moments.

Then came the floods of 2020. Water damaged the vehicle, and eventually it stopped running.

But something beautiful happened.

The children never allowed it to become just an abandoned old car.

They climbed in.
They took turns being the “driver.” 😂
They filled it with laughter.

And somehow, something that once carried us through emergencies now carries memories, imagination and joy. ❤️

Every time I see them around it, I am reminded:

What has stopped working has not necessarily reached the end of its story.

We still believe that one day, God willing, this old vehicle can run again and serve the purpose it once did.

Until then, the children seem quite convinced that it belongs to them. 😂🚙❤️

Yesterday it carried our children when they needed help.
Today it carries their laughter.
And tomorrow? We are keeping HOPE ALIVE. 🙏

This is God’s Village—real stories, real impact, and hope that keeps moving forward. ❤️

🎂❤️ JOIN US TODAY IN CELEBRATING OUR DAUGHTER SUZAN!

Today is Suzan Kirabo’s birthday! 🎉❤️

We may not have had a birthday cake to cut today, but Facebook brought back these beautiful memories from her birthday celebration one year ago, and we couldn't help but smile and share them again. 😊

Because whether there is a cake on the table or not, a life is still worth celebrating! ❤️

Today we thank God for Suzan, for another year of her life, and for the beautiful young woman she continues to become here at God’s Village.

🎂 TODAY OUR DAUGHTER JESPER TURNS 10! ❤️

Ten years old today! 🥹🎉

What a beautiful little celebration we had here at God’s Village for our daughter Jesper Esther Eyalama.

Sometimes it is the simplest family moments that become the sweetest memories.

There was no big birthday cake today—just our homemade birthday bread, our children gathered around, lots of laughter, and one very happy birthday girl. 😂❤️

And if you look carefully at the plate, you may notice a little 200 Uganda shilling coin. That was Mama Prossy’s little birthday gift to Jesper. 😊❤️ Of course, the children noticed it too!

Then came the best part—cutting the bread, sharing it around, feeding one another, laughing together and celebrating another year of her life.

Looking at Jesper today, my heart simply says:

Thank You, Jesus, for Your grace. 🙏❤️

Watching our children grow is one of the greatest privileges God has given us. Year after year, we see them becoming stronger, discovering who they are, dreaming about their futures, and filling God’s Village with life.

Today was Jesper’s day. 🎂❤️

Happy 10th Birthday, our daughter Jesper!

May the Lord protect you, guide your steps, increase your wisdom, and allow you to grow into everything He created you to become.

🌟 VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH — AUGUST 2026

Today, we are honored to celebrate Ronald Aryagasha, our Volunteer of the Month at Vangrace Compassion Ministries. ❤️

Ronald’s journey with us began in 2008, and through the years, he has continued serving with remarkable faithfulness—teaching children at Vangrace Academy, helping with work around God’s Village, and simply being willing to serve wherever his hands are needed.

Ronald once shared:

“I yearn to do it to the best of my ability because all I want is to see unprivileged children’s future brilliant and to make sure they have a better tomorrow.”

Years later, that heart is still visible in his service. 🙏🏾

Ronald, THANK YOU for your faithfulness, your love for the children, and the many years you have given in service. We pray that God will richly bless and reward you.

🌿 AUGUST 2026 IMPACT REPORT — BEHIND THE SMILES

If you only saw the photographs we shared from God's Village throughout August, you might never know just how difficult this month really was.

The children still smiled.
School continued.
Church continued.
Meals were prepared.
There was laughter around God's Village.

But behind many of those smiles was a battle we did not always share publicly.

August has been one of the most challenging months we have walked through this year.

Food became an almost constant concern. Medical supplies became severely depleted. Everyday responsibilities continued whether resources were available or not. There were moments when we simply did not know how the next need would be met.

Yet somehow, day after day, God carried us.

And that is why this month's Impact Report means something different to us.

It isn't simply a report of percentages.

It is evidence that even during an extremely difficult month, the children were still cared for.

📚 Education & Skills Development — 15%
🏠 Safe Homes & Daily Care — 12%
⛑️ Medical & Healing Care — 9%

Now, as August closes and September stands before us, I will admit that we enter this new month with many unanswered questions.

We don't yet know how everything will work out.

But we know the God who has carried God's Village this far.

So more than anything, we are asking our friends around the world to pray with us as September begins.

Pray for daily provision.
Pray for renewed medical supplies.
Pray for wisdom and strength.
Pray for every child and caregiver.
And pray that God will once again make a way where we cannot yet see one.

🙏 “My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.” — Psalm 121:2

August tested us.

But God brought us to its final day.

And now, by faith, we place September into His hands. ❤️

🙏 BUILDING STRONG FAMILIES

Final Encounter: RAISING GODLY GENERATIONS

Homes Established in Peace

A strong family is not only built for today—it is built for generations yet to come.

God told His people:

📖 “These words... shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children...” — Deuteronomy 6:6–7

Before our children hear our faith, they should be able to see our faith.

Let them see you pray.
Let them see you trust God.
Let them see you forgive.
Let them see you worship.
Let them see you remain faithful when life becomes difficult.

Because what you live before your children today can become the spiritual foundation they carry tomorrow.

Psalm 128 gives us a beautiful picture of a household that fears the Lord and walks in His ways. God desires our homes to become places where His presence is welcomed, His Word is honored, and His peace is established.

You may not be able to give your children everything in this world—but never underestimate the inheritance of faith, prayer, godly character and the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

🔥 Declare over your family today:

“The blessing will not stop with me. My children and the generations after me will know and serve the Lord!”

🙏 PRAYER:
Lord, establish our homes in Your peace. Let Your Word live in our hearts and in our children. Heal what is broken, strengthen every family, and raise through us a generation that will love You, serve You and carry Your truth forward. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
