🌿 CHILDHOOD, CREATIVITY & JOY

Not every toy comes from a store.

This afternoon at God's Village, some of the children spent time creating their own handmade toys using natural materials found around them. With a little imagination, banana fibers, sticks, and teamwork quickly became something that brought smiles, laughter, and excitement.

Moments like these remind us that childhood is not measured by what a child owns, but by the freedom to learn, create, play, and simply enjoy being a child.

At God's Village, we believe every child deserves that opportunity.

While many of these children have come from difficult backgrounds, it is a blessing to watch them grow, explore their creativity, and rediscover the simple joys of childhood.

Because every child deserves more than survival—they deserve the chance to dream, create, and thrive.

🌿 Volunteer of the Month – May 2026

This month we are honored to recognize Brenda Nakanwagi, a young woman who left the busy life of Kampala and chose to serve children here at God's Village.

As both a Grade 1 teacher and caregiver, Brenda plays an important role in helping vulnerable children learn, grow, and experience the love of Christ each day.

Today we celebrate her faithfulness, compassion, and servant heart.

🌿 HEALTH & PRAYER UPDATE

Many of you may have seen recent reports regarding Ebola cases being monitored in parts of Uganda.

By God's grace, God's Village remains safe and peaceful, and all ministry activities continue as normal. We are following health guidance, maintaining good hygiene practices, and keeping a close watch over the well-being of the children and staff.

We would appreciate your prayers for Uganda, for the health workers serving on the front lines, and for all families affected during this time.

Thank you for continuing to remember the children of God's Village in your prayers.

🌿 MAY 2026 IMPACT REPORT

Every month tells a story.

May was a challenging month as food prices continued rising, making meals and nutrition our greatest area of need. Even so, through God's grace, children continued receiving meals, education, daily care, and medical support at God's Village.

Behind every percentage is a child being nurtured, educated, protected, and given hope for the future.

Every meal served, every lesson taught, every medical need addressed, and every safe place provided is part of the ongoing work of Rescue. Nurture. Raise.

Thank you to everyone who continues standing with these children through prayers, encouragement, and support. Together, lives are being touched and futures are being shaped. ❤️

🌿 This Season’s Series — Restoring the Altar
🔥 The Fourth & Final Encounter: Fire Falls Again

Maybe you have repaired the altar.

Maybe you have returned to prayer.

Maybe you have been seeking God faithfully and wondering when your breakthrough will come.

Remember what happened on Mount Carmel.

Elijah repaired the altar first.
Then the fire fell.

Sometimes God's answer comes after the altar has been restored.

In Exodus 12, the blood on the doorposts became a sign of God's protection. Today, our confidence is in Jesus Christ, our Passover Lamb.

If you have been standing in faith, do not give up.

The God who answered Elijah by fire still answers His people today.

Keep praying.
Keep believing.
Keep the altar burning.

Your season of waiting is not greater than God's power to respond. 🔥

🌿 Today at God’s Village

A joyful afternoon moment with some of our children as they gathered together for a quick photo, full of smiles, laughter, and excitement.

These everyday moments continue reminding us that child development is about more than education alone. It is also about helping children grow in confidence, belonging, healthy relationships, and hope for the future.

We are grateful to see the children learning, growing, and enjoying life together here at God’s Village. ❤️

🌿 Today at God’s Village, lunchtime brought more than a meal—it brought smiles.

This afternoon, the children gathered for one of their simple meals of posho and beans, prepared by our caregiving team.

While meals may seem like an ordinary part of the day, they remain an important part of helping children grow, learn, and thrive.

Every plate served represents another opportunity for a child to continue studying, playing, and looking forward to tomorrow.

We remain grateful for every day God enables us to care for the children entrusted to us here at God’s Village. ❤️

🌿 COMMUNITY GOSPEL OUTREACH UPDATE

One of the most encouraging moments from our recent evening outreach gatherings near God’s Village came when men, women, and young people responded to the Gospel message and publicly prayed to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

With hands lifted toward Heaven, many joined together in a prayer of repentance and commitment to Christ. It was a powerful reminder that the Gospel is still changing lives within these nearby lakeside communities.

As we continue serving children through education, care, and daily support, we also remain committed to sharing the hope found in Jesus Christ.

Thank you to everyone who continues to pray for these community outreach efforts. Every worship gathering, every prayer, and every Gospel message helps bring hope to people who need it most.

🌿 Today at Vangrace Academy, the school compound was filled with laughter, excitement, and smiling faces as the children gathered together after classes.

Moments like these continue reminding us that child development is not only about education alone — it is also about helping children grow in confidence, joy, belonging, and hope for the future.

🌿 Behind the scenes at God’s Village tonight.

As the firewood slowly burns beneath the cooking pots, Monica prepares one of the simple meals that keeps our children going day by day.

Sometimes people only see the smiles in our videos and photos…
but behind those smiles are caregivers working quietly every single day to make sure the children eat, feel cared for, and continue hoping for tomorrow.

These moments may look ordinary —
but here at God’s Village, they carry alot of love. ❤️
