The heart of an usher is gentle and kind,
With a servant’s spirit and a welcoming mind.
They stand at the door with a smile so bright,
Guiding God’s people to seats just right.

With quiet strength and humble grace,
They help set the tone for this sacred place.
Not seeking glory, nor praise from man,
Just faithful to serve in God’s great plan.

A kind word spoken, a helping hand,
A warm “good morning” as worshipers stand.
They bring comfort and peace in moments small,
Yet their service makes a difference to all.

For every soul that enters in,
They help prepare hearts to worship again.
Their role is simple, yet deeply true—
A reflection of Christ in all they do.

So today we honor those who serve,
With faithful hearts and love they preserve.
For the heart of an usher, pure and true,
Is a gift to the church—and a blessing too.
