Mississippi County—we did it again!
Arkansas Northeastern College, District & Circuit Courts, the City of Osceola Mayor’s Office, Legal Aid, Osceola High School, the Osceola Police Department, and the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office came together to host another successful record sealing clinic for our residents.
Led by ANC’s Community Department, this event provided meaningful second chances and fresh starts for members of our community. Director of Outreach Willie D. Williams Jr. shared his appreciation for the Community Relations Department and their tireless commitment to improving the quality of life across Mississippi County.
“When we work as one, the work gets done!”

l’m truly overjoyed by the overwhelming support that Mississippi County demonstrated today as we celebrated Black History Month. We sat shoulder to shoulder in unity while celebrating, supporting, encouraging, and honoring one another in reflection of the legacy of those who paved the way through sweat, blood, and tears so that we might enjoy the freedoms we have in America today.
Our gathering was more than a celebration; it was a reminder of resilience, strength, and the enduring power of community. Together, we honored the past, embraced the present, and committed ourselves to building an even brighter future.

Great news! 🚍 Both Opportunity Buses will be back on the road tomorrow, February 5, with all routes resuming. While road conditions continue to clear, safety will remain our top priority.

Arkansas Northeastern College is pleased to share that many neighborhood streets are beginning to clear following the recent ice. However, some side streets remain challenging for our Opportunity Bus drivers and riders. As a result, the decision has been made not to operate Opportunity Bus services on February 4.

While we understand this may be inconvenient, the safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding during this unusual weather event and will continue to monitor conditions closely.

Thank you for your cooperation and continued support.

Faculty and Staff,
Due to hazardous road conditions, our Opportunity Buses will not be running on February 3rd to ensure the safety of our drivers and riders. Please take this into consideration regarding student absences.

We anticipate resuming transportation for Opportunity Bus riders on Wednesday. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
