Verse for Today: Hebrews 12: 7-9
So hold on through your sufferings, because they are like a father’s discipline. God is treating you as children. All children are disciplined by their fathers. If you are never disciplined (and every child must be disciplined), you are not true children. We have all had fathers here on earth who disciplined us, and we respected them. So it is even more important that we accept discipline from the Father of our spirits so we will have life.

Prayer for Today: Lord, I praise You and thank You for helping me to learn to see and recognize all Your loving actions in this world that I live in. I need to remember that any adversity that I encounter is intended as “parental discipline” to teach me some kind of important lesson. You are all powerful in this life and I need to learn that You are answering all my calls for help in times of trouble. I pray that You will inspire me to learn from Your “disciplines” and see that I can always trust in Your love and mercy.

Prayer for Today: Lord, help me to see that everything I see in this world is created by You and is a manifest demonstration of Your power and love. Help me to see all the tiny little events in my life that demonstrate how You are lovingly taking care of me and that I can trust in Your love and mercy every second of every day. Please help me to spread the message of Your love to everyone around me. I will sing Your praises.

Prayer for Today: Lord, help me to remember to always praise You and that You and Your ways are good and far more perfect than any of our ways. Help me to remember to have frequent conversations with You in prayer and that the most important part of prayer is listening for Your inspirational whispers. You are powerful and infinitely merciful and the only real judge of what is good and fair. Help me to see the world through Your vision and know that You are actively at work in every second of my life. Help me to put all my hope and all my trust in You.
