On this ninth sacred day of Navaratri, we adorned both Swamiji's deity and the Devi deity in the serene and radiant Saraswati Alankaram — the Mother as the Goddess of wisdom, seated on the white lotus with the veena, bestowing knowledge, creativity, and clarity upon all beings. When Saraswati is worshipped with devotion, ignorance dissolves and the mind becomes a pure instrument of divine intelligence. Alongside Her adornment, KAILASA Ohio offered the chanting of the Lalitha Sahasranama — the thousand sacred names of the Divine Mother, each name awakening the inner light of wisdom and grace. On this eighth sacred day of Navaratri, we adorned Swamiji's deity in the fierce and resplendent Mahishasura Mardini Alankaram — the Mother as the destroyer of the buffalo-demon Mahishasura, who annihilates every negativity that torments Her children. In the same divine splendor, we offered the Mahishasura Mardini Alankaram for the Kattu Murthy, adorning the sacred protective deity as the invincible warrior Goddess who shields every devotee and every home. Alongside these adornments, KAILASA Ohio offered the chanting of the Lalitha Sahasranama — the thousand sacred names of the Divine Mother, whose very sound shatters fear, ignorance, and all inner demons. When the fierce Mother is worshipped in both Her forms with Her holy names, no darkness can stand before you.
