🎉 The Man. The Myth. The Pastor.
BRO. LARRY SWEAT JR.! 🎉

October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and we couldn’t let it pass without showing some love to our very own Bro. Larry!

We sure are blessed at Friendship Baptist Church to have a pastor who loves the Lord, stands firm on God’s Word, and loves his church family!

Whether he’s behind the pulpit preaching the Word, offering encouragement, praying for someone in need, or keeping us on our toes, Bro. Larry is truly one of a kind!

All jokes aside, we are so thankful for the time, dedication, prayers, and love he pours into our church family. Being a pastor isn’t always easy, but we are grateful God called Bro. Larry to lead Friendship Baptist Church.

Bro. Larry, we love you, we appreciate you, and we thank God for you! ❤️

⛪ Happy Pastor Appreciation Month from your Friendship Baptist Church family!

👇 Help us show Bro. Larry some love in the comments! Let’s remind him just how much he means to our church family! ❤️

⛪ Important Church Announcement

Due to still being without power following Hurricane Isaias, all church services for Sunday, October 11th, have been canceled.

We pray that everyone has remained safe throughout the storm and continues to stay safe as our community works to recover. Please continue to keep all those affected by the hurricane, as well as the hardworking linemen and emergency crews, in your prayers.

❤️ Our scheduled love offering has been moved to next Sunday, October 18th.

We love our church family and look forward to being back together in God’s house soon! Stay safe, check on your neighbors, and remember that even in the midst of a storm, God is always faithful! 🙏

We hope to see everyone next Sunday!
