Is this religious snobbery, if so does it exist today and have you encountered it yet? I wonder if Jesus would be considered inferior?

Heard a sermon today Ritual or Religion Rom 12:1 reminded me of Matt 7:22,23 an outward appearance but nothing on the inside, no relationship. Relationship promotes outlook, outlook determines outcome
